Probably not the Prospect Park you're looking for, but a lovely park in its own right with huge trees and a lot of stairs to help make you feel accomplished
The highest point in Brooklyn , right off Eastern Parkway . Right near the Brooklyn Public Library , Brooklyn Museum , and Grand Army Plaza .
Best dog park in the city ! (Ok, not technically a dog park but that's what makes it great for dogs. You'll see.)
Hidden gem ! Never crowded and always a bench open
Take a scenic detour from walking along Eastern Parkway . Worth the couple extra minutes
Friendly , diverse, fun bunch of kids here.

Diaper changing table in the bathroom .
Puppies free for all before 9am usually
Every neighborhood needs a park like this.
My dog likes it.

Park has great dog space before 9:00am.
Such a great place to take yer pooch!
This park is terrible, nobody should ever go here. Obviously this is not true, but I do like how quiet it usually is and would hate to see that change.
