The Ugly Mug Diner

First time using four square and we found THIS gem. Fantastic food and service. Very cool diner . On vacation from Western NY and so glad we found it this morning. Highly recommend.

Ham and cheese omelette is my default, though there are so many other awesome things on the menu. Popular breakfast spot on the weekends, so make sure to arrive early! Friendly crew , too!

The Ugly Mug is also in Salem. Their waffles with brown sugar cinnamon is TO DIE FOR... Great place to eat with friends!

Everything is delicious. I usually have an omelet or the pancake special. I’ve never been disappointed by the quality or portions. They also play great music !

Delicious food, amazing pancakes !! When your in town don’t miss this diner . The food and the service is top notch!!! It’s a win win!

Love this place. My only complaint is that they need more vegan/vegetarian options. Nothing fancy . Oatmeal would do. I bring friends but there is little for me to eat

The menu is uniformly excellent, although the waffles , duck confit hash , and Scotch eggs get particularly high marks.

Fantastic food. Really creative. Worth the wait. It can get crowded but the staff does their best to take care of everyone.

Biscuits & gravy with cheese grits and silver dollar pancakes makes for a delicious family breakfast .

Love the décor and you must try the Breakfast Poutine Special -- poutine with bacon , jalapeno with a fried egg on top!

The staff and service is friendly and efficient. They have a brown sugar and cinnamon spread that's perfect for pancakes .

The mimosas are spectacular!!! Fresh oJ and good portion!

Get a stack of pancakes with cinnamon brown sugar butter. You won’t regret it.

Pretty good food but not great. We waited a long time on a Saturday morning which was understandable but I don't know why it was so busy. Wasn't impressed with their omelettes .
