Amazing housemade pasta , but everything feels like "Mamma" put it right in front of you. All about ambience & great food to make u feel good. Tiramisu is probably the best in town too...

David Painter

Great food and people! If you're looking for a family restaurant with great Italian food #osteriamamma is the place

Oren Geshuri

Try the Bigoli Al Ragu D'agnello - Splendid bigoli in a hearty lamb ragu . It was dripping with flavor and the bigoli was cooked to perfection.

Great osteria, good service and honest prices. Perfect choice before (or after) a tour at Paramount Studios.

Emanuela is the best server ever. She creates a wonderful atmosphere. It's always a pleasure to see her, and Mamma's cooking is extrodinary

Steve Hallock

My favorite restaurant in LA. Super friendly "family" staff and incredible food. Bigoli Neri with bottarga and shrimp is awesome as is the Amatriciana

Alex???? Rose

Every meal I've had here is amazing -- I have always loved the food here. BUT, it gets VERY LOUD when full of patrons. Sitting in the South East corner table was painfully uncomfortable.

Katherine Coles

Best Italian food I've had in LA! The gnocchi is delicious and they have a great selection of wines .

Lisa Jones

The best gnocchi I've had since Italy ! If you're a white wine fan order the Orvieto by the glass... Heaven!

Kevin Hart

Brought me back to my Italian roots with all the pasta and wine

Gerardo Labrador

Maggie Bell

One of the few (possibly only) Italian places in LA that have gluten free pasta .

Enjoyed the gnocchi il porcini . And of course, the black squid ink pasta !

Get the 'Arianna' pizze. Anything with truffle is winner.

Octopus . Gnocci . Anything with mamma in the name. Bring your own wine (for now).

Christina Yoo

don't get the octopus app or the halibut . not delicious.

Helen Choi

Linguini alla Carbonara was way too salty! According to the chef , that's how it's supposed to taste. I wouldn't order it again. The Lasagna was tasty.

This is brought to us by the former owner / chef at Osteria La Buca. Viva Mamma!

Kate Harpootlian

As a New Yorker, the food was awful. My Carbonara tasted like Alfredo and the sauce on the pizza tasted like it came from a box.

Maggie Bell

Gluten-free friendly !

Cristian Liu

great food, slow service ...

Cristian Liu

Food was delicious, but my God service was so ridiculously slow.

Cristian Liu

Slow service, good food

Wesley H.

There's cheap , pricey , over-priced and just ridiculous - depending who you ask. Bottom-line, you get what you pay for. Prices of a mainstream place (Bucca) for NYC Little Italy value. Homemade pasta !

Tom Gray

Food isn't bad, just overpriced.

Sherri Camarillo

Avoid. Hideous service.

Nicola Torquati

Eccezionale!! È difficile trovare un ristorante così buono anche in Italia. It's hard to find the same Great italian cuisine in Italy.
