$15/day wifi in 2016? Wha? Also you can converse with the people in the next room without even raising your voice the walls are so thin. Great bath products, style/vibe though.

If you're looking for a nice relaxing place to stay, look elsewhere! You will be disrupted by drunks wondering the hotel at nights. Rooms are tiny and outdated - don't be fooled by the modern lobby!

The Harry Potter-esque moving portraits with back-stories in the redwood-clad bar will make you keep glancing at throughout the night and interpret their gazes. Oh and the cocktails are beautiful, too

As of today the Clift is no longer part of the Morgans Hotel Group....sad to see them go. Hope new Sonesta management maintains the vibe.

I love the Clift. I love all the Morgan's hotels I've stayed at. Stylish , discrete and rocking toiletries. Upgrade to a suite if you want to completely indulge yourself. Bathrooms could be more posh.

2 things to ask for at check-in: 1) a room not adjacent to the service elevator ; 2) a room on a high floor (b/c of creaking and street noise, respectively)

Great hotel but be prepared for it to be noisy at night! Staff is great about keeping it down. Breakfast in the am is yummy!
