This hotel has been through a major renovation! The furnishings are lovely, the staff bend over the backwards to give great service ( bellhop Romy is top notch ) and the cocktails are strong!
I always stay in downtown Vegas on Freemont strip and have a blast. This time around wanted to try a new spot and The Plaza did not disappoint. What a great place and I'm staying here for Viva
After the overhaul of the Hotel & Casino we were excited to stay. Room was spacious and clean . Food was great (see comments on Hash House & Island Sushi & Hawaiian Grill) Gaming was exceptional.
Tons of recent additions and upcoming updates including the Sand Dollar lounge with live music nightly. Best location on Fremont, updated rooms, rooftop patio with tennis and pool. Clean spacious gym .
Oscars is amazing. Cool view of downtown. Awesome service. Excellent food and drinks. Highly recommend surf and turf .
The room was nice and spacious , clean and didn't smell like smoke. We had an awesome mountain view . Checking in took longer than I imagined at 10 pm.
They used to have an incredible band which was the reason you would go there. The management are absolutely clueless. The place stinks too
They have redone this casino but it's really just the same. If you liked the old dump , you'll love the new dump . Get a players card so you can use it at the Las Vegas club also.
Hidden gem of a steakhouse downtown! Great view , great cocktails and a nice wine list too!
As of August 2011 the hotel & casino had a $35 remodel. So if u have been here before it was a dump & nasty, now the rooms are beautiful with everything new. Give it a try & save $!
Ask for the South Tower if you want a quieter room. North Tower faces Fremont Street and you'll hear all the noise and music coming up.
There's a good vibe at this place. It's a good mix between modern and classic Vegas
Since You're Here: You should make sure you go to Hash House A Go Go. They're famous from the Travel Channel and the Food is VERY YUMMY :D
The rooms are big and comfortable .
Great place for less money - right at the Fremont street
Sneaky cool pool and Oscars Steakhouse is a great hidden gem downtown.
Sign up for a players card get free perks. You can get your parking validated here.
Plenty of machines to play at lower denominations than the strip.
2 hours of free parking , but you still have to insert the ticket into the machines by the elevators before you leave.
They've remodeled The Plaza very nicely, rooms are better, and more to eat. Hash House a gogo is a must, Island sushi not so much.
We finally r asked to take a dif room. Fine until the trains came thru at 440 am. Also tub and sink would not drain. They did move us the next a.m....however again, not to our selected/booked room.
Breakfast , 6 AM to 11AM, $6.99 Lunch , 11 AM to 4 PM, $7.99 Dinner 4 PM to 10 PM $8.99
Loved the slots. Not to busy and friendly staff .
The food was very good & the portions were to big for any of us to finish. :-)
We had a blast, got to play in a slot tournament
Great food with Hash House and Pop Up Pizza . Rooms are very nice.
Pop up pizza is closest to nyc pizzeria you'll find downtown. Yum!
Still a very nice hotel & casino
I found Poke ! LOL Gotta be my Hawaiian blood! Great Staff , very friendly and informative.
McDonald's has a special for seniors one dollar and 49 in the mall area on the first floor
The plaza opened back up in august. The remodel is great. Nice modern rooms , clean casino !!
Smells like hooker pussy spray but other that that it is awesome. Make sure you ask for the beef Wellington special and go to Dingles across the street
Hash house a Go go & Oscars are a must do every trip.
Cheap place to drink, great people watching and loads of fun!
No in room coffee ! That would make the stay perfect.
I like the work table.
The elevators from the garage are broken, so you WILL be dragging your bags down the stairs, unless you valet. Valet is free for guests.
Love Oscars! Best atmosphere downtown, solid food.
Great place except the bathroom in our room was in a closet
Very clean brand new rooms and cheap price you should try it
The stay was nice, but there should really be microwaves inside the guest rooms.
Staying at a junior suite which has the all important refrigerator for leftovers
Great hotel , good location
Ask to stay in south tower if you want to be closer to the valet
Comfortable beds .
Wow. The rooms here are pretty good. Better than the MGM.
BACK TO THE FUTURE hotel !
Big, modern and clean rooms
Newly renovated, looks great but bathroom is small and when the wind is blowing, you can hear it scream!
Plenty of outlets for all your charging needs.
Pork tenderloin sandwich can feed a huge family. Great place!! - Nat Ruffatto
Best Steak Restaurant in Vegas. Surprisingly, the house salad was the best salad I've ever had. - Carl Santos
Tasty vegan pizza and soft serve! What else could you want? Soft serve is Chicago Vegan Foods Temptation Ice Cream which I can't get back home in NYC. - Neysha V ????
Friendly service, fast drinks, low minimums, great rooms. I love the Cortez - Zac N
Wonderful service and you've got to get the shrimp cocktail! One of the best I've ever had. And for some reason really good butter and toast... - Nico I
I like the beer and the triple seven cafe is good too - Zac N
Love love love Fremont st! The entire thing is a show. The light show is amazing and all the bands that were playing were amazing. We had a blast. - Jessica Maynard
