delicious vegan Ethiopian food ! the feast for 2 easily served 3. the service was great too. my only qualm was that it's cash only , but there's an ATM and our waitress was kind enough to break bills.
I adore this place!! Such a great vibe. We ordered lunch for 2 and got a large portion . The cocktail was phenomenal. And sunflower milk was out of this world!! Definitely coming back.
It's kind of tucked away in the middle of nowhere but it's cute and cozy and perfect for taking someone out with dietary restrictions. Everything on the menu is vegan & delicious!
This was 1st try of ethiopian and it really deserves going back. Pictured: Sunday brunch combos that me and my friend combined the plates each.(the sampler is at dinner only) try the tosign toddy !
The food here is amazing! Got the combination platter for 2, and it was probably enough food for 3! Also the ice road trucker drink is very unique and tasty.
Niche little Ethiopian restaurant in the heart of Bushwick. Plant based. Food was amazing! Recommend the lunch sharing platter between 2 ($16) as you get to try a bit of everything. Cash only . Vibe.
Absolutely so delicious, a great option for vegans and non-vegs alike. 2 friends and I split the feast for 3 and it was a TON of food, we couldn’t finish. 100% recommended.
The feast for two is probably good for three, etc. Great place to get a bunch of friends together though the cocktail game is weak. Throw down on a few plates of sambusas and all is forgiven.
Amazing vegan Ethiopian food . Just get the feast so you can try everything. Dont forget to order coffee--its delicious and different from the regular. Love this place.
The Kategna appetizer was an incredible surprise. Loved the texture (like injera jerky ) and perfectly spiced (read heat). Great start to a great Feast
Bunna is a godsend! Go in a group and order a sampler platter , which allows you to try everything on the menu. Read more
Seriously the best Ethiopian restaurant . Delicious food, nice staff , perfect atmosphere for date or friends. Well worth the trek out here.
Everything is delicious and surprisingly it also happens to be vegan ! I love that they have a yummy selection of non alcoholic beverages .
The feast is great to share, a bit of everything all on bread . Remember there is bread underneath so you don't need to order more like we did!
Everything is awesome here! Brunch is delicious and dinner is fantastic. Recently got the Kategna, spicy and delicious.
Great first Ethiopian food experience! I’ve never had Ethiopian before and this was the perfect intro to all of the wonderful flavors. Great price, full vegan menu , and great atmosphere
Get the feast for 2. Realize it's more like a feast for 4. Take leftovers/eat everything
Ethiopian coffee & feast - good for any occasion! Injera , salads are flawless. Cocktails are delicious & v original. Favourite restaurant in Brooklyn :)
Great Ethiopian restaurant . The feast for three was plenty of food for four people, and the best option to try a bit of everything!
Vegan deliciousness on a small plate or big plate !!! The feast for 3 ppl is good for 5!!!
The lentil sambusa is delicious, the Ethiopian coffee as you wold expect also delicioso. What was unexpected was the caipirinha , best I've had in years!
Share all the dishes for two people! First cocktail and the White Russian are both awesome and cheap during happy hour (slightly smaller).
We had the feast with seven combinations for dinner and it was amazing. Enough for two people. Awesome vibe and great staff .
Bunna is super great. If you're hungry, get the feast for two (it can reasonably feed three), and I highly recommend the honey wine !
Awesome vegan spot, weekend brunch is a lot of fun with great DJ . Moderately cheap , the honey mimosas are only $5.
Great date spot . Cash only . Got the feast for one but shared between two was perfectly fine
The food is delicious the staff is lovely. A little too expensive for me to eat there three times a week, but if it was cheaper I would. The food is worth every penny though.
Feast for three was enough for four. Make reservations online to save time (esp for weekends) and for gluten free injera .
Just come in from the cold? Order a shai tea right off the bat. It'll warm you right up. Mmm... cardamom , cloves , cinnamon , ginger .
Iced chai (Shai) and gluten free injera but if you want the gf injera you must reserve it the day before your visit.
The feast for two is the perfect amount of food for ambitious people like you and your dinner companion. Compliment them on the woodwork, it's homemade .
Go here on Wednesday nights for authentic vegetarian Ethiopian food and love music . Best combination for the midweek hump.
My favorite Ethiopian restaurant in New York. I love the beets .
Delicious. No idea what I ate; lots of daal and pancake and whatnot. Beautiful space, great atmosphere.
Carnivores and vegans alike will enjoy the menu. Everything on the huge platter for 2 was delicious.
Amazing food and everyone is very friendly . Great place for a date!
Wonderful food! One of the best Ethiopian restaurant in NYC area. Ethiopian road trucker is a very good drink!
The drink menu includes traditional t'ej (honey wine ), cocktails , and wine and beer from Ethiopia and elsewhere. Read more
Feast for two is all you need for 3 or 4 people. Very delicious and cocktails are great.
All the food is delicious! Loved every bite! The honey wine is really sweet
I loved the lentil sambusa appetizer . Followed by a feast for two and tried a bit of everything!
Feast for 2 is 100% the best way to do Bunna Cafe.
Get the three-layer juice ! Mango , avocado , and papaya .
Delicious and cheep, warning it's very filling!
Holy wow everything here is amazing! Get the feast for 2 and appetizer and dessert .
Great healthy vegetarian food , share the platter for 2. It's a lot of food
The food at Bunna Cafe, a pop-up Ethiopian supper club turned brick-and-mortar restaurant , is only incidentally vegan .
Lunch menu for 2 is a good option if you want to taste everything.
Mango , papaya or avocado ? Why bother choosing when Espris has them all.
Surprisingly appetizing and filling, definitely shows you that vegan Ethiopian food can be a thing.
Get a sampler platter! Loved everything here — the food, the drinks, the vibe. - Kaitlin

Utterly fantastic selection of beers (try the IPAs) and a great atmosphere. - Nick Johnson
