Vegetarian here: may be the best Ethiopian I've had in Brooklyn. Very flavorful, and a very good value for the quality in an Ethiopian restaurant .

Village Voice

The Ghenet combo for four is a good deal , allowing you to sample almost everything on the menu-all the vegetarian dishes , as well as doro watt (spiced chicken stew ), and sega watt (spiced beef stew ). Read more

If it’s on the menu, it’s probably going to be delicious. I think about the green beans on a daily basis. You should probably order them, because I said so. You can trust me, I know your dad.

What a unique eating experience! Order the Ghenet combination with 4 meats & 4 veggies , which comes with the awesomely spicy Sega Wett beef dish , dig in ONLY with your hands and share with friends!

The beef tartare is phenomenal but the fish is close. Make sure you get the lentils ! The chicken choice includes a drumstick and an egg so if you want to share, stick with the beef ! Lamb tibs = yum

Natali Beze

Good for a date and if you look for a new experience. Girls, please be prepared that is no silverware, cut your nails before you go there!????

Leah Kopperman

Great Ethiopian food . Many vegan options . Get the vegetarian platter to try lots of the dishes in one meal. And if you didn't know: teff (the grain used to make injera bread ) is gluten free .

Cynthia Hayes

Get the Katenga and Sambusa to start, then order a platter. It's all so deliciously spiced. End with the flan-thick and rich and a sweet end to the savory meal.

Joy Chen

Ghenet combo for two is waaay more than enough for two. Doro wett is delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by the veggie sides like the cabbage dish (atkelt wett).

Hands down, best Ethiopian food in NYC! I enjoyed every bite as everything I tried was really good... I recommend the Ghenet Combination (with Doro Wot) and Lamb Tibs...

Jack Clausen

Ghenet combination and the Doro Wett is everything so make sure you get that one. Everything was good to be honest. No need for apps, so much food!

Benjy Weinberger

Best Ethiopian food I've ever had. The mushroom sauce dish was a standout among the vegetarian entrees.

William Johnson

Everything is great which is why the Ghenet combination is the way to go. Try multiple things and work your way through the menu!

the lovely hao lian

My first Ethiopian food experience. You can get a "sampler" to try everything. Be prepared to get messy because you eat it with your hands!

Selom A

My favorite Ethiopian place! Order any of the wetts, aterkik aletcha, and the gomen ????????

Holiday

Vegan combo! Choose your own - mushroom and butternut squash choices are the stand outs. Open for lunch on the weekends.

Here’s what you do: go with four people, order the $60 combination, which gets you basically all of the restaurant’s best dishes for $15 a person.

If you're Gluten-Free, call the day before and they will make tef-only injera for you. (The regular injera is made with some wheat)

I live in Brazil and every single time I come to NY since the were in so-ho I come to eat here! Just love it

Howard Walfish

Decent Ethiopian food . The sampler platters offer the best value and give you tons of food

Pratheeksha KS

The appetizer took a little longer than expected so they didn't include it in our check! Super nice people and great veggie platter .

Dee Phunk

I'm going to make ordering simple if you have a party of 4 (because the menu is kinda confusing). Order the combo platter for 4. You will get all the meat & veggie options on one big plate . Enjoy.

Serko Artinian

Their 100% Teff Injera is the best I've ever tasted. I've been eating Ethiopian food for many years. :)
