Roast Goose Leg over rice with salted egg is quintessential at Yat Lok, arguably the best Roast Goose eatery in HK ! When dining in pairs, opt for half Roast Goose (+ additional leg) la carte to share.
烧鹅饭 (Roasted Goose Rice ) is very good. The skin of the goose is crispy and flavorful. Must try! Long Q and expect to squeeze and share tables with others as the place is very very small.
Best Roast Goose with Vermicelli . Please come before the Lunch Crowd comes in, if not they will tell you they do not have any more Drumstick Vermicelli unless you order together half or whole Goose.
Fav place for roasted goose . They dont sell roasted goose drumstick during weekends before dinner time, probably due to high demand of takeaways for half/whole goose. Soy chicken is so yummy too!
“Lai fun” (thick rice noodles ) comes with a broth that’s delicious beyond words. The umami is accentuated by the fat from the roast goose and spring onions . Eat fast, service is merciless
Forget about Yung Kee . This is the real deal for HK Roast Goose . Their "25 steps" goose is crispy on the outside, succulent on the inside, tastes divine n costs less! Try the Crispy Roast Pork too!
This place serves Michelin star level roast goose . Worth the queue. Goose legs run out fast so come in a pair and order a half goose! Definitely a must-try when in HK!
Yat Lok roast goose 一樂燒鵝 has crispy skin with plump, tender and juicy meat. Do try their Roast Goose Leg with Lai Fun Soup coz I saw many tables ordering this. The food here is very reasonably priced. Read more
The best roast goose meat in Hong Kong! Crispy skin and tender meat, be early to avoid the queue and to get the best part of the meat. Definitely recommended
Really good roast goose and roast pork (char siu ), just be warned the service here is rude at times. Just be sure what you want to have before seated, and don't be picky with where you are seated.
Best roasted goose ! Have it with rice or with egg noodle soup , the egg noodle is so thin and soup tastes great. Tiny space, you might have to share a table. Good for quick meal or buy take away .
Delicious! The goose is more crispy , a bit smoky as well . The round noodle 瀨粉 is hard to find elsewhere. If you order goose and char siu (BBQ pork ) combo, put on a plate to avoid too oilly in soup .
Good for a quick meal . Roast goose leg runs out fast, so go early if you want it. Both the BBQ pork and roast goose are delicious. Menu in English and Chinese.
Mark Weins: “one of the legendary restaurants in Hong Kong for roast goose . They marinate in over 20 spices and herbs, roast it using charcoal, result is one of the most delicious things in world.”
A Michelin-stared Chinese restaurant since 2015 and a plate of roasted pork and goose with rice only costs $67. Arrive extra early (around 11:45am)/late (after 2:30pm) to avoid long queues
Located in Central district, the offerings of goose at this establishment is good enough to challenge the likes of Yung Kee (they’re just expensive !) Drop by for a bite if you’re ever feeling peckish!
Roast meats here are simply outstanding—succulent and expertly cooked. Compared to other places, Yat Lok's quality and portion sizes make it a top choice.
The best roasted goose in town ! Smooth and soft, juicy and melt in your mouth! Worth the long queue!
It was really delicious back in Dec '15. Almost two years later, their famous Michelin-starred goose leg no longer satisfy your cravings for a fat, crispy ; yet tender and juicy meat.
Very delicious! ???????? the drumstick was sold out at the time I went but the breast meat is nice as well coz no bones????????
Wow ! Goose is a fatty bird, but here it looks like they got a lipo while roasting ! So tender and crispy skin without the fat. Excellent joint. Char Sui is not bad either.
After trying the old and new 'pretenders', I officially announce that Yat Lok Roast Goose is 'Best of the Best'!
Now I understand why all the hype! Great roasted goose on a 100% local setting and unbeatable prices! You will share a table with strangers, so make your peace with that!
Indeed, this is worthy 1 Michelin star as their roasted goose was really flavourful and hence, life-changing. A shop I don’t mind returning to. -Penang Kia Food Critique-
Good crispy roast goose with fat melted away. Excellent alternative to expensive Yung Kee on the next street. The roast pork is good as well .
Their roast goose was tender, and more importantly less fatty compared to Kam's Roast Goose . After trying them back to back, I preferred it here.
Didn't have to wait much when I arrived here on a Monday at 2 pm. 1/4 goose was awesome, although a bit too much for a single person(together with rice ). Very good place.
for around $50, the amount of everything (cha siu , chicken & rice ) is unreasonably small tho the taste is good ; btw you'll have to pay extra $5 for water / $15 for tea -,- so...bring your own water!
roast goose with a low price in a one michelin star restaurant . Goose is tasty but it was seeved a little bit cold which is not wanted for such a place. crowded but worths waiting.
Succulent roast goose with the right amount of charred flavour and fats. Pairs really well with the plum sauce .
Best food I've tried in HK!! I will come back again for this crunch&juicy roasted goose !!
Best roasted goose ! ???? But don’t forget the Cha sieuw and Babi pangang ✨
The Michelin recommendation, just come here for food, cos it only provides Very genuine traditional chinese(or HK) style service ie rude. Roasted Goose on rice is nice but cant fill you up
You're here for the roast goose . If you don't want to pay the minimum table charge, get a single order to go and eat it on the streets of Central
The roast goose is yums. The soya sauce chicken a tad too fat for my liking. Be prepared for a line but it moves along very fast.
This place is famous for roast goose . Which wasn't bad at all. But I think the siew yuk was amazing.
Fave: bbq pork & roast goose over rice
Amazing roast duck over everything! Crowded as always, recommend early arrival before lunch time.
probably one of the best roast goose eateries in hk - but they keep downsizing the portions!
Quarter goose w/ drumstick is nice light meal for one, if you want a little bit more food get some rice or add another meat.
Roasted goose was good for me, just a bit oily but if you don't eat too much it's ok. Order just quarter of goose HK$120 or with drum stick HK$150 and put some chilly sauce ????????
Soya Chicken is really good! It’s not all about the goose in here! ????????????
Their roast goose is really good!! Definitely worth the try!! Yummy
Fair prices . No water. Selling napkins. And I couldn’t understand what is so special about the gooses here compared to many restaurants in the town . Did they graduate from university ?
The roasted goose is excellent. Succulent and full of flavour.
Tried the roasted goose and soy sauce chicken . I'd say skip the soy sauce chicken and go straight for the roasted goose .. ONLY.
Goose and BBQ pork is superb! Best goose so far!
Plate of goose 120 HKD. Go early in the day (before around 6pm) otherwise the goose sells out. Better than Yung Kee by a long shot.
Nothing fancy but they serve probably the best roast goose in hk!
Super good roast goose . Really yummy. Recommend.
Wowwww definitely worth it’s long queue and Michelin Star rating. One of the best BBQ pork and roast goose I’ve ever had! Make sure you order the cucumber too, very nice!! - Chee Wai Wong
The garlic prawns were amazingly delicious! Meatiest goose in Hong Kong. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Being here is like a step back in time like what you see in the 50's HK movies :-) - Anne D.J.
Great hidden away Cantonese restaurant. MSG free, good for weekend dim sum and also evening dinner - Paul Wong
I absolutely love egg tarts & these are the best I've ever eaten. Butter style egg tarts which are light, crumbly, creamy & delicious. One is isn't enough! - Kwok Tang
Get chirashi bowl at only 60 hk$ from city super - worth every penny with a great taste, freshness and size! - Jen Loong
Their Earl Grey gelato is by far the best in town! Very rich tea flavor, and gelato is really smooth and not too milky. - Angel Law
