I used to recommend cocktails here. Who doesn't love getting slightly tipsy and wandering through modern art ? However, they've revamped the cocktail menu to be much shorter, with cheap spirits at $15
The breakfast pizza is ridiculously good. Studded with ham and caramelized onions , topped with a soft poached egg , I wish I was eating it right now.
Casual place in the courtyard of the LA County Museum of Art . Great spot w/ excellent food. Highly recommend spending an afternoon checking out art and relaxing at the restaurant & bar .
Cool weather offerings might include his haute version of a chile relleno : a poblano pepper , charred to black, stuffed with zippy housemade venison chorizo , and napped in a suave corn sauce.
Although the menu is vegetable-intensive, it is far, far from butter-free, but Ray's, named in honor of the late film producer Ray Stark, may be the restaurant that this plaza deserves. Read more
Ray's Swizzle: With lime juice , pineapple syrup , muddled blackberries, and oranges . Skews more tart than sweet, which allows the subtle but smooth Don Q Cristal rum to shine through at the finish. Read more
Great cocktails and fresh food . Always new additions on the menu. Service is good too!
Delicious and savory items to eat: hanger steak , pork belly , chile, asparagus salad . Drinks: dirty harry & rose wish and lavender dreams - yum! Top of the line service!
Sit at the bar , the pre prohibition cocktails are a specialty of the bartenders here. Also midweek they will let you sample all the scotch you want, if you play nice!
The Mediterranean-inspired menu includes dishes from the restaurant’s wood-burning oven and grill, with an emphasis on farm-to-table, seasonal fare from executive chef Kris Morningstar .
Love sitting outside for lunch and people watching . Food is better than it should be... and sometimes you see Steve Martin.
The Ginger Rogers has zing, the Roses , Wishes & Lavender dreams is more refreshing than sweet, delicious! The BTO's (Better Than Oreos ) live up to their name!
His lamb’s tongue with beans and niçoise olives is a crunchy evocation of carnitas , while his farro salad is spared the vegetarian blahs by a dice of turnip and crushed pistachio . Read more
Faves: Atlantic salmon , beef tartare , chocolate mousse . Skip: bread
The complementary chips at the bar are homemade . They melt in your mouth.
The chili first course is insane and go for the hangar steak . Can't wait for this place in the summer. The patio is incredible wither the views of the hills and LACMA.
Good for a small nosh or small plate sharing: bread , olives , cheese . And the bread is really quite excellent.
Great spot in the museum courtyard , cool off here with a glass of local cider
Fantastic brunch offerings with a beautiful variety of cocktails . Definitely a repeat.
A cute and chill outdoor bar with such ambiance & free parking . Definitely will be returning.
