The theatre is a good standard - helpful staff , short distance between audience and cast, enough leg room . Go for 1984. Might be not suitable for epileptics, as there are powerful light effects.
Bathroom line gets very long for the bathrooms during intermission & pre-show especially for the ladies’ room so get down there fast! Photo: Fiddler on the Roof
James McAvoy and a team were just stunning in "Cerano de Bergerac". Amazing little theater near Trafalgar square. Note that first three rows in Upper Circle have a limited view (half of a stage ).
Smaller inside than you'd expect, so if you're in the stalls you've got a great view of the stage . Very little seating in the bar area
Spamalot is hilarious enjoying every minute of it, would definitely recommend didn't expect anything but really glad I came:)likely enough first row seat right in the middle:)
Nice smaller theater - pretty much any stall seat and most Dress Circle seats are great views .
The upper circle is so high and steep that it is scary if you have fear of highs! No room for your legs in that area either.
Really steep in the upper circle ! Aside from this, nicely decorated theater . The bar could be better.
Red wine is so bad at the bar . Christian Slater is so good on stage
Decent theater . Seats in the Upper Dress Circle aren't bad. Spamalot is a bit dated as a musical and it doesn't look as good on the small Playhouse stage , but the songs are still a lot of fun.
The Lord of the Dance - unbelievable energy, we're so tempted to dance along!
Got tickets on lastminute.com, second row of upper circle , great view . Spamalot is a show that should not be missed.
Latecomers may not be admitted but if they are, it prob won't be for around 15-20 mins into the show. No interval. 101 min long production. Flashing lights so not suitable for those with epilepsy etc
Cheap performances midweek. In central Charing Cross, there's no wifi there, but lots of pre theatre dining in the area.
Check out the Ambassador Lounge ! VIP luxury to make your night extra special!
Such a fun and bubbly play definitely go and see it before April
Glengarry Glen Ross is wonderful. Every bit as funny as the film
Very polite and helpful staff
Lovely little theatre . Quite warm, especially towards the top.
Excellent small theatre . Not much leg room in the upper circle .
Incredible 1984 adaptation, very powerful and unexpected. Not for nervous people, though.
Staff was really lovely. You can pay using your credit debit card.
Good setup and brilliant and caring staff
Superb location. Old fashion setting!
Try to see 1984 here, while it is still on... You will enjoy it.
Any theatre in London is good.
Buy last minute tickets. Always available and inexpensive
Spamalot was brilliant!! Funny and very entertaining.
Lovely little ornate theatre ! Brilliant musical too!
Badly organized queues (one to collect tickets then another to enter theatre ) meant no time for pre drink. Upper Circle view is not great and was very hot, plus zero leg room .
1984 is a harrowing yet essential experience.
The end of longing
Brilliant adaptation of Orwell 's 1984
1984 was amazing!
Watching Fiddler on the Roof! Hope it’s good!
1984 great adaptation of Orwell book
Spamalot is really worth seeing!
There is no cloakroom despite what's stated on the website.
Had to move seat to see any thing in the gods!
1984 must see.
Arrived at 8:01 and they wouldn't let us go in for 10 mins!! Don't be late. Even by 1 minute apparently
very expensive food and drink
Uncomfortable settings
Dreamboats and Petticoats! Much more fun than planned!
Lovely theater, very central, small enough to enjoy a play, very good selection of plays too. - EDR
The Musical Chicago is brilliant, excellent, amazing.. Must be seen.. - Duygu A.G
Yet another great classic theatre in West End, charming and beautiful as it should be! - Florian Isachsen
My favorite area, beautiful location. Close to Leicester square, and several great food stops. - Chelsea Bradley
Excellent pub food (steak pie recommended) and brilliant view of the study - Mike Bazaluk
Hands down the best wine bar in London. Great selection of wines with a surprisingly nice food offering (cheese, pickles etc) - D M
