Marriott Manchester Hotel & Spa

Nice hotel , good view from the top floor. Service is great all around and the facilities including the spa and gym are great.

Room is spacious and location is excellent. The breakfast time is at 7:30 and 8:00 a.m for Sat & Sun which are quite late really for a frequent traveller like me. Staff are friendly & helpful.

Apart from room service this is the first Macdonald Hotel I enjoyed staying in! Interesting tented village opposite!

Rooms are spacious and clean it's, about as close to Piccadilly as you can get, and staff are friendly . Just a shame the whole hotel lacks character!

Try the award-winning restaurant ; you'll love the menu there. The home-made cakes at the cafe-bar are also amazing.

A nice hotel for business or pleasure. Comfy , large rooms , 10 mins walk to centre and a nice spa attached.

Lovely room and a great price. If arriving by train make sure you leave by the main station doors or you end up trekking around like I did! Dog!

Rooms are alright & adequate (ps the mini bar is a cooler not a fridge , and it isnt stocked). Clean hotel & fab food for dinner , but service in the reception needs working on..didnt feel very welcomed

Biggest problem with this place is its parking charges. £17 to park your car for the night. Park in the station car park next door for £5 for the night.

Massive Macdonald Hotel , great to stay in but also great for business too.

Room and breakfast was a cut above similarly priced hotels . Recommended.

There is no complimentary WiFi in the hotel room, just the lobby area. If you purchase a package on the BTOpenZone, your time is cut is multiple devices use the same code.

Excellent customer service. Book a room in a lower floor and use the stairs , waiting for the lifts is very frustrating.

I mean... The staff is sweet and working real hard but you can't polish a proverbial huh?

They don't make it clear at all, but web access is free (ask for a cable at reception ) whilst wireless is £10 a day. Con!

Annoyed with lack of early check in but great room, massive bed, fabulous bathroom and lovely meal in the restaurant :)

If you choose the BT-OpenZone-Meetings WiFi network, you can use the password given to you for the hall area.

Ask the bar staff for the best pubs/clubs in the area rather than the reception desk. They're less 'tourist ' mindset and have better suggestions..

Reception staff are great - rooms are nice and spacious but unfortunately they are let down by their bad design of no toilets on the ground floor and their bar service

Nice rooms and bathrooms but not enough lifts and the breakfast very expensive . Good location just 30 seconds walk from Piccadilly.

A reasonable, if unremarkable hotel . The rooms are nice, but not particularly well kept. Service at the bar is good though.

I've stayed here many times over the last 2 years, the rooms are great, but sadly the staff are a bit clueless

The room is good also the location is nice , but the service is a bit bad .

So the shin of beef nice.. Burger and chips terrible in comparison.. both took the same time to prepare and cook. Go figure
