Lovely restaurant with a spacious feeling. Buzzing at lunchtime. Get one of the set lunch Teishoku options - miso pork is recommended!
Tried twice. Tenshoku is very easy to order and balanced in food. Perfect for casual dining , good environment for friends' catchup.
One of the staff members isn’t particularly friendly . We found a pebble in our sake claims - highly disappointing! The food was great but the pebble just ruined our night.
They make the rice in house and on your table
Pay the extra $2 to add clams to your miso ! It's worth it!
Overpriced. Waited 1 hour for a cup of water . Used to be fantastic but they're now trying to position themselves as a fine dining destination, bumping up priced without improving the food.
Probably one of the best Japanese restaurants in the city .
Authentic Japanese restaurant
Beware of credit card surcharge
$5 to sample 3 shots of sake !
Tonkatsu and Nanban chicken
Finally a Japanese restaurant that is authentic and very Japanese... Delicious and reasonably priced. Hope it sets a good example for the restaurant industry in Sydney.
Overrated. The atmosphere is nice I suppose. Slow and nothing special. Not deserving of any 'best Japanese in Sydney' claims .
Expensive. This place has changed their menu. Go to Galeries Victoria branch for more casual dining .
やよい軒がついにオーストラリアまで南下したみたいでここかな? 2014年6月5日開店。
Order the chicken karaage. Succulent meat with fluffy batter and sweet chilli sauce. The BEST. - Geoff Kim
This tiny Japanese bar offers Japanese home-cooking food and an impressive selection of Sake and Shochu. Make sure to book a table as it gets full very easily. - Hidetaka Tanaka
Not too much to add.. one of the best place on Earth to visit. Amazing experience. The 1 hour tour totally worth it, book online to save a few dollars. - Illés Salacz
