Speckled Ax

Siphon coffee is so interesting. It's a novel way to brew a good cup of coffee . The atmosphere is a very rustic play on the "Speckled Axe" nomer. I also need to try Fruity Pebbles milk !

This an awesome little coffee shop . Great espresso drinks , and even better pourovers . Get a pourover and drink it there. The presentation is beautiful. Reasonably priced too.

Cold brew & lattes are the way to go here. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff !

Any of the espresso drinks are going to be great. The coffee is also done quite well . Enjoy the artisan chocolate with your coffee !!

No indoor seating as of 5/17. Excellent drip coffee and espresso drinks . Some merch + their own roasted beans for sale. Sit in Congress Square nearby to enjoy!

First time ever in Maine and this is already my favorite place! The staff was super sweet and the cold brew is perfection! Hooray!

Pretty hipster name and concept but pretty darn good coffee . Got the cold brew and was happily surprised by it's brightness .

They had avocado and rosemary chocolate bars for sale. They are delicious.

Bathroom , although for customers only, is always sparkly clean . Please put the lid down before you grab for paper towels so you don't drip on the seat.

A bit pretentious , small but clean and the espresso is worth putting up with the snooty hipster staff .
