Come here before the Opera and enjoy a Dim Sum Dinner - one of the only places that serves it at night! Make sure you get the pork bun , star dumpling and taro pancake .

This is an old school classic. You come here for the performance element--get Peking duck or come for the OG General Tso's but not for something new and exciting.

If you love chinese food you should definetely go to this place. Duck egg rolls , sea bass & scallops are delicious. And a good wine selection .

Great lunch . The special is worth it. Hot and sour soup . Crispy Beef . Pineapple

sauteed dried string beans are delicious. a nice, slightly burned, texture and some good strong seasonings (garlic ?). I ate every one.

The cafe is a good neighborhood spot for Chinese / dim sum , although a bit expensive . There is also the more formal version of the restaurant next door.

My favorite place for takeout and delivery . Sea bass filet and grand mariner shrimp are so savory and delicious, absolutely melts in your mouth.

The food and service are really good but don’t come in the winter. The only source of heat seems to be a small space heater

Classic 70's Chinese dining. If you want to know what Chinese food was like before America got authentic Chinese food , this is the place.

Grand marnier prawns great tasting but rich. Chan do chicken fine but nothing unusually special. Heavenly fillet and noodles sorta msg-ish. But great decor and overall the food was fine.

Many excellent dishes, but the pea shoots and shrimp dumplings - wow!

The Chinese restaurant near Lincoln Center has a cult following for its dragon-themed decor and always-tasty dishes.

Grand Marnier shrimp and pillowy mu shu make for an elegant pre-Lincoln Center meal best taken with martinis and friends.

Do not miss the Beijing duck - order it as an appetizer if not your main !

Get some dim sum , peeking duck , chan-do chicken and some heavenly fish filet . Toss some garlic string beans into the mix...Thank me later.

Expensive but delicious

Shun Lee West, once a favorite- never again. ‘Peking’ Beijing Duck was horrid. Barely warmed, tasteless, dry. Rubbery pancakes . Tepid too thick plum sauce . Quartered scallion skins stuck in throat.

Wayyy too expensive for dim sum ... but I guess it’s those city prices.

Don't miss the sour cream apple pie .

Shrimp dumplings steamed are excellent.

Food is excellent but it's way too expensive !

Best stop before Lincoln Ctr. Go to the cafe for dim sum !
