when i used to work at sony, we'd lunch here with the team: peking duck was a favorite (among other dishes). possibly some of the best chinese outside of chinatown
A high-end Chinese eatery with traditional and classic dishes. We find this elegant and fancy setting to be absolutely wonderful! The staff is always attentive, and we love ordering the orange beef .
After removing it from the menu for a few years, they are once again serving General Tso’s Chicken , which they allegedly invented. It is delicious and definitely worth a visit!
Invented General Tso's Chicken , a staple among American Chinese restaurants , in the 1970s. They brought it back after a long hiatus. This place is on the pricier and fancier end of the spectrum.
The wonton soup there is out of this world INCREDIBLE.
Great Chinese cuisine , upscale restaurant , excellent service, Aromatic Duck spot on, traditional flavours, well executed, Nice meal. Full review... Read more
Their Orange Beef was incredible
Grand Marnier shrimp and pillowy mu shu make for an elegant pre-Lincoln Center meal best taken with martinis and friends.
Seems like maybe it was good in the past but was only so so. The spare ribs had no sauce. Beijing duck and grand marnier shrimp were marginal. Really expensive for mediocre food.
Seen in Episode 2 of "Master of None"
Jonathan Waxman, chef of Barbuto, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Beijing Duck . Read more
Invented General Tso's Chicken , but doesn't serve it anymore due to demand becoming an annoyance.
If you eat here and do not order the duck then you're a fool.... And like Mr. T says I Pity The Fool!
Grand Marnier Shrimp are a must!!
Marnier shrimp + slippery chicken is the best combination in town .
Gran Marnier shrimp
Love Shun Lee's Orange Flavored Prawns !
Peking duck is amazing
Try the slippery chicken , there is a reason Shun Lee has been around for over 40 years.
Very disappointed in the food after my wife has talked so highly of this place for years. Very oily and meat was all overlooked. I would not recommend for the price.
over-priced and the dish has nothing to do with its Chinese name.
Episode 2 - Parents
Food is consistently great
So bad that I wouldn't even take a free meal to go back
in Woody's Allen "Husbands + Wives"
Try the Beijing Duck
hot n sour soup rockss
The beijing duck is close to the best in the country .
Shun Lee Cafe - dim sum amazing but avoid the baked selections.
Over rated and over priced
Terrible service and food
This place is not good, unless you're old, white and don't like authentic Chinese food .
Очень вкусная китайская еда , особенно рекомендовал бы белый соус к спринг-роллам
Китайский ресторан
La Carne en tiritas
If you love chinese food you should definetely go to this place. Duck egg rolls, sea bass & scallops are delicious. And a good wine selection. - İpek A.
Delicious. Legit. They even have a round table for a large group. That's always a good sign when it comes to real Chinese restaurants. - Chez Ong
First time here since the renovation. Place looks great and Club Gold seats had a good view. In fact, based on the layout, there isn't a bad seat in the house for Knick games. - Jonathan Blenman
The arcade level is a personal heaven! Don't miss Magnolia Bakery as well????????✨ - AlAnoud A AlGhunaim
definitely check this place out! A must for every Apple fan! - Ronny Walden Jr
