Best place to hike ! So many different trails for all levels (including people who don't exercise at all). I've brought international friends here and out of town guests - they all loved it!
The trail head is easy to follow, and is great for an quick (or more extended) break.
I love trail running the east loop better work and the Marcos trail when I have more time.
Numerous trail heads , lots of parking spots , and endless miles of trails . Bathrooms at most of the trailheads and the park is easily accessible from Phoenix, Tempe & Ahwatukee.
I use #CharityMiles on my phone GPS to earn money for charity while hiking/walking. West/East Loops get better celll phone reception for me, while the back trails like Mormon Loop have less coverage.
