Off the highway, expect a little wait. The garlic shrimp are tasty (skin on), the crispy shrimp are great (no skin)! The salad is just tons if dressing w/a splash of greens.

My fav preparation style is the butter garlic - Lotsa garlic ! Lotsa parking , nice clean tables, lotsa trash bins, & sink to wash hands. One porta potty non-flushing lavatory. Good idea to bring wipes.

Not fast food , but definitely worth the wait, esp the garlic shrimp . And I'm not sure why folks gripe about having to peel the shrimp : much juicier and more delicious that way. Work a bit, folks!

I think the haters are from Fumi 's up the street....Romy's was fantastic, there was no line at all and we waited about ten minutes for our three different dishes....the garlic butter shrimp = awesome!

Any of the shrimp options are great. Don't forget to suck on the heads for great creamy flavor!

Hands down the best of the shrimp trucks stops . Less lines and awesome prawns , shrimp and chilled pineapple cubes.

This roadside shack always serves fresh shrimp — served fried, steamed or sauteed. A great place to bring the kids.

Allot some extra time for the long wait time (40+ min). Plan ahead if you're on a schedule while traveling.

They are 1 of only 2 businesses on the North Shore who farm and harvest their own shrimp and prawns . Others purchase it frozen from elsewhere (as far away as SE Asia).

The locals say this shrimp is the best and it's not imported.

Came here for the prawns but they were out. Their garlic butter shrimp was nowhere near comparable to mackys or even giovannis . Found a cooked pincher bug in our food.. they offered me a refund

You have to peel the shrimp so peel everything first then wash your hands~ makes eating less of a hassle and cleaner too~!

Be prepared for a wait if it is during peak lunch time. 2 orders for us were at 40 minutes. Got one shrimp and one prawn . Prawn is hard to take the shell off.

If you want prawns , you have to come at 10 am when they open. They told me that they sell out within the first hour.

Okay, the shrimp were totally worth the wait. Garlic Butter & Sweet Spicy sauces are amazing.

Call your order 10-15 mins ahead of time for a shorter wait. When you get there go straight to the pick-up line , where they will call your name when order is ready.

Long line (15 mins), followed by a long wait (30-45 mins), and to top it off... NO PRAWNS. They should rename this place to "Romy's Shrimp & more Shrimp & Flies & Long Ass Lines ."

2 THINGS TO KNOW: 1) CASH ONLY!, 2) PRAWNS!

Ask them how long the wait is before you get in line ! Waited 20mins to be told 1.5hrs. Not cool. No signs no warnings.
