Site of free summer concerts within the Guggenheim Bandshell. Named for Leopold Damrosch who founded the New York Symphony Orchestra which rivaled the Philharmonic before merging with it in 1928.
Come here for midsummer night swing in late June. If you get tired from dancing there is a beer garden so you can still enjoy the live band .
