It's nice to be able to go inside the ship , a lot of history right there.
Once you are done this great tour , if you find yourself hungry, do NOT buy a $6 hot-dog from the snack truck . Bus back to Pearl Harbor and get a better dog for half the price near the US Bowfin.
An amazing ship . I told one of the tour guides that I was a machinist mate and he gave me a personal tour of the engineering spaces. Amazing how similar they are to modern ships !
We had a great time to see how the life on a ship is going on. The displays and stories from different persons who actually were on the ship were interesting and made it special!
Very good place to study military life, battleship engineering and design. The condition of crew was surprisingly good and miserable in the same time.
Worth the visit. You're able to get into a lot of areas for free. Can be quite a maze inside.
Don't go try to explore by yourself- you'll get lost and the historical significance of the deck will be lost to you. Also, the bridge (5th level) has a fantastic view .
Must do the in-depth below decks tour . See what really made her work and function.
Be sure to walk to front pier to get a good picture of Arizona Memorial and look back for great front shot of the battleship
The Japanese signed the treaty on the deck of this ship with General MacArthur present. Check it out as you tour !
Great place to visit in Honolulu. Magnificent engineering , but sad history
Recommend the heart of the Missouri tour . You see parts of the ship most don't get to see.
Take the guided tour , it's worth it
Highly recommend taking the guided tour of the ship . There's nothing like experiencing the history of the Mighty Mo than with a good storyteller. Chicken skin moments too.
George was our tour guide and he was great! Lots of detail, humourous and excited about the history!
Lots to see and you can pick and choose how much to explore.
There's no way you can see this whole ship in an hour and a half. If your tour does that, try to rush through the officers quarters.
Try to get there early as the ship gets very hot later in the day
Impressive warship, in which there is a lot to admire Read more

Be prepared to climb some pretty steep staircases. And ladies, watch what you wear as it could lead to some unintended embarrassing moments climbing up and down those staircases.
Awesome visual of America. History
Make sure you go below deck to see the crew areas. It's a maze down there!

"Mighty Mo" was built in 1944, but was the site of the official Japanese declaration of surrender .
perfect place to straddle a gun barrel and sing "if I could turn back time"
See the big guns and the deck where the Japanese surrendered .
There are two squish penny machines, so bring lots of quarters and shiny pennies. Located at the shop and exit line .
