PERFECT AMBIANCE. One of the last great places to see CLASSIC Disney Films . The VIP is only a few dollars more and WELL WORTH IT. Celebrity spotting is very common at the movie premiers here.

Recently saw Star Wars there. It was quite the experience! Gorgeous, classic theater, laser shows, organ player . Awesome evening out and you get the total Hollywood Blvd. experience when you get out!

Beautiful old theater. Worth seeing a movie here just to see the insides. Definitely get here early if you don't buy a VIP seat; Disney fans are always early and eager.

Built in 1926, El Capitan theater is designated as LA cultural-historic monument . Although remodeled a few times, there's no lack of old school charm here. It's bursting with architectural details

Check the schedule for special events , where you can find 4D movie screenings with special effects, museum-style prop displays in the basement , and pre-show performances by Disney characters.

The organ player before the movie was amazing. Not to mention the decor they had for the movie in the lobby. Sometimes they'll give out posters for the film . Sound is a bit funky since it's old?

My 2 dtrs and I were here for Cinderella yesterday and it was a great show! 3D floral designs projected on walls and ceiling to coincide with film opening. And confetti cannons blowing pastel petals!

Our favorite theater in all of Los Angeles. If you love Disney movies , this is the place to go see them all. Get the VIP tickets ; they include reserved seating, popcorn and a drink.

One of my favourite cinemas . Going here is an experience. Arrive early for the organ music or to experience the movie-specific exhibits downstairs.

Can validate for 2 bucks parking at Hollywood/Highland. Throwback Thursdays for old movies are fun. They always have some kind of preshow and organ player . For some movies , you can see props.

VIP seating is the way to go!! You can order ice cream from the Disney shop, go sit down and they bring it to ur seat when its ready!! Now that is service!!

Real estate don C E Toberman, “the father of Hollywood,” built the largest legit theater in LA in 1926. It became a movie house and is now owned by Disney and filled with little princess and pirates.

You can take a tour of the theater as well which is really interesting and much calmer than the crowds across the street

VIP reserved is a must if you're looking to optimize your audio and visual experience. Center orchestra, row DD, seat 107 is a great seat.

Lion King 3D was amazinggg. Balcony was great except you definitely will have a view of someone's head partially blocking the screen throughout the movie based on how the seats are angled.

LOVE The place but if you don't get vip tickets you need to get there an hour+ before the show to get good seats????

In the lower level there are currently original costumes and props of the movie Maleficient! Check it out it's amazing!

A classic movie house and reminiscent of days long gone. The theater shows classic Disney cartoons from time to time.

Popcorn isn't great and no fountain drinks?! What's the point of going to the movies ? The live organist that plays before each film is amazing, but I still prefer Arclight or Grove.

The El Capitan should get people who like working there! With the economy I am sure there are lots of people who would be grateful for their jobs!!!

Came here with out of town friends just after 5:30am after a night of partying to see Zootopia and they were closed!! Wtf. 5 stars
