Famous for their all-day breakfast set , comprising of a macaroni soup bowl with char siu , a pair of fried/scrambled* eggs with sliced ham and buttered bread/toast*, plus a drink. (* = recommended!)
This quick-turnaround restaurant has long queues during peak hours (meal times, weekends), but serves the best scrambled eggs in town ! Delish steamed egg and milk desserts also on offer! Closed Thurs.
Prepare to queue during peak times. Must try custard eggs and custard milk desserts . Scramble eggs on toast is worth a mention.
Set A, Set B, Or Set C? Make up your mind. Service may actually be quite pleasant if you push the right buttons (e.g. speak Cantonese). Legendary scrambled eggs with macaroni soup .
Great value for money . Tasty fried eggs with butter toast although a bit overrated???? For dessert try the hot steamed egg custard & the milk pudding they are more special????. Crowded but fast service .
If you’re looking to experience a typical HK Cha Chan Teng, this is the place! Quick service , loud and table sharing. Skip the macaroni and focus on the scrambled eggs which is a real winner!
The best French toast I’ve had. Soft bread encased with delicious fried egg . Nice dollop of butter and syrup . Mmmm.
Other great recos from this food haven (makes you want seconds!): Corned beef and scrambled egg sandwich (not toasted); Ovaltine drink or HK-style milk tea (hot/cold); Steamed egg or milk (hot/cold).
Tried both the custards - my fav was the Almond Milk Custard (cold). But the Egg Sandwich was my ultimate favorite!
Great food & great service!????????Wonder why so many negative reviews about their customer service? ???? long lines but you don't need to be wait long to be seated. Their heavenly toasts are to die for! ????
Get there early to avoid the lines . Study the menu and know what you want to order before being seated. Tables are shared and services is quick, real quick. Can't go wrong with anything on their menu.
People say the servers are rude, but I don't see it that way, I think they are friendly in a way. Food is quick, you can finish in and out within 15 min. I like their eggs ...
Buttery scrambled eggs with fluffy toast , and macaroni was delicious! When we went there wasn't a queue so we got served pretty quick. Will come back again????????
Egg custard with almond is delicious. Smooth. Service a little impatient and they may have overcharged me. Saw a long queue in the afternoon (sunday) but there was no queue in the evening.
ersonally prefer this over Yee Shun, as this milk taste more soothing. Enjoyed their milk pudding too! One of the best scrambled egg I've had in HK, but wouldn't ever try their 通心粉 ever.
The latest menu has gone up to 32HKD. Then again, it's still worth it for a good toast with scrambled eggs , macaroni soup and a choice of hot tea or coffee ! Yums!!
2 mins delivery to your table. Offers high-quality fried egg , with a smooth and juicy texture and a surprisingly strong flavor. Welcome everybody to ask me questions about Hong Kong.
Simple cha chaan teng breakfast of macaroni and charsiu, but with one of their specialties of steamed milk custard . ????
As an Aussie I can say there's nothing Australian about this place but it doesn't matter one iota as the breakfast is so delicious, novel and quick I'll be back every visit to HK.
I'm sure many of you knows their scrambled egg on toast is a must try but I must say their management of customer flow amazes me all the times - one of those 'HK-style' that is disappearing?
Sounds simple, but ADC makes fantastic scrambled eggs , on good 'ol simple toast . Must try for tourists , although try a weekday instead of a weekend to avoid a crazy crowd!
People tend to rave about the scrambled eggs here, but my personal favorite is their 腿蛋治 (ham and egg sandwich ). It was love at first bite! ????
I highly recommend this place if you want authentic classic Hong Kong breakfast . Wait.. better if you have a local friend with you. Or, don't be shy to ask for english-speaking waiter . Enjoy!
Scrambled eggs recommended - cooked just right, delicious silky, creamy texture. Another 2try - steamed milk aka like hot milk pudding ...YUM! Note: don't visit this place at night for safety.
Their scramble eggs is a killer! French toast is my love! I found first love again here!
Get here really really early to avoid line ups. You should know what to order once you arrive so order fast, eat quickly and GTFO before they start to rush you. On top of all of that, food is goooood.
It's very simple but very local. I tried the Macaroni soup , french toast and milk pudding ... all are amazing 9/10 (1 point off cuz of the language barrier ????)
Take-away it's better if u go by yourself and don't want to share table with strangers.... Ham and scrambled egg sandwich and milked tea is great
The scrambled eggs are really good! Came back a few times within a week to have them. The milk pudding is okay here (I prefer the Yee Shun one). The ham and macaroni soup might be an acquired taste.
don't be daunted by the long queue, it moves pretty fast. even on a weekend and lines all the way to the end of the block, it clears within 15-20min and you're in!
My husband have the set,the kids definitely love the toast with scramble egg and the macaroni soup with ham .for the pudding ,according to me i prefer the egg pudding with almond
The food there is not very expensive but yet taste awesome. Breakfast are a great value for the money and also must try the egg pudding !
Salt stock macaroni , with paltry butter-smudged toast (mine wasn't even toasted!) and fried eggs (you have to tell them if you want it scrambled, although that's what EVERYONE goes there for).
Order the delicious steamed milk custard 炖奶, steamed almond egg custard 炖蛋, and tasty scrambled egg sandwich 蛋治. Don't order the macaroni 通粉, tea 奶茶 and yingyong.
Get their sets, comfort breakfast food . Only down side is that the place is crammed full of people and you are expected to eat and leave - like many of the famous Cha Chaan Tengs
Love the scrambled eggs and steamed milk pudding here. Service is quick and staff were gruff and grumpy, but the yummy food makes for lots of repeat customers and foodie tourists .
They’re known for the steamed milk pudding . Milk tea is also good. Come later at night if you want to take your time.
Get the one and only breakfast set available and change the sunny side up (煎蛋) to scrambled egg (炒蛋). Order the hot custard egg (炖奶) too. A MUST TRY!!
A bit expensive . I liked the toast with eggs and ham , almond custard and milk tea . Total 68 HKD. Better value with the combo meal but I wanted sth else so
for the sets, u can change from spaghetti to macaroni . also u can change the roasted pork to shredded ham , ham slices or beef . the fried eggs can be changed to scrambled eggs or egg sandwich .
Came here few times! Love the smooth and melt in mouth steam milk with egg white , and the definite Muz order scrambled egg toast !!
Absolutely amazing and worth the wait. Lunch set (bread/toast with peanut butter , macaroni/spaghetti with pork/beef, coffee/milk tea ) was fillin'...
Queue was long but it moved fast! Amazed at how ordinary food done so well . Warm steamed milk was the highlight for me. Would definitely return.
Famous for the breakfast served here, macaroni with ham , toast and the smooth bean curd that comes with mango or almond flavour.
Been coming here since I was a kid - a very consistent Cha Chan Tang
For some reason this restaurant makes it to top spot in tourist guide and become so crowded all the time. Food served within 1 min and You are expected to finish it in 5! (exaggerated but not by much)
The smoothness of this Steamed Milk Pudding with Egg White is out of this world! Super life-changing! -Penang Kia Food Critique-
They have an English menu. Arrive before 12, expect to queue, get the breakfast set and steamed milk pudding (hot).
Amazing place somewhat of a street food institution in Jordan district of Kowloon. You need a Cantonese speaker though!
Need no more introduction. Get your eggs correctly. 炒蛋 is scramble eggs . This is da boom! 煎蛋 is fried eggs .
Omg, anyone in HK needs to try their polo bun and egg tarts! It was packed so keep in mind that you may have to share a table with other people. - L M
檸檬脆脆、奶油脆脆 all the buns are perfectly done! Scrumptious! Worth the queue and time! - Rachel
Pork chop bun, black truffle scrambled eggs toast, milk tea. Delicious!! - Reese W
great place to spend a few hours away from the hustle and bustle, nice swimmping pool as well for hot summer days, opening hours are a bit odd though, gotta check out first - Andreas Kluppenegger
A must of egg noodle lover. Very delicious. Please try it. This restarunt has English menu. Inexpersive and great service :) - Passavon Ball
Huge mall with all the possible stores. Lots of restaurants in the mall with good views of the Victoria Harbor. - Divya Menon
