Their signature dishes are the Pineapple Bun and Egg Tarts are that popular. Follow me for more awesome post of Hong Kong & welcome everybody to ask me questions about Hong Kong.

Jonathan Janssens

Egg tart $5, pineapple bun with butter $10, hot milk tea/coffee $17, HK French toast $20. Great value and quality breakfast spot . Small and busy so might be seated with others, English menu available

Zuno Y.

with $6 (or $9 with butter) the pineapple bun is great!! super crispy on the surface and it tastes more rich compare to buns in elsewhere. Will def come here more often :D (a drink is a must tho)

Angeline Teoh

Famous for polo bun and French toast . Polo buns are served fresh from the oven, crust is crispy and the inside is tender and paired with butter to enhance the taste. Don’t forget the French toast too

Steven Wakuu

Their pineapple bun (sweet bun with a layer of crusted pineapple-flavored top) is extremely delicious. You also have the the option to ask for butter in it. They also have great egg tarts .

Catsi Catalan

Kam Wah Cha Chaan Teng is a timeless gem where tradition meets flavor. Sampling their iconic pineapple bun paired with a rich, aromatic Hong Kong milk tea is a must for any visitor.

Hei-Yu Tang

The place in Mong Kok to get the afternoon tea classics. Get the triple classics: Egg Tart , Hong Kong style French Toast with syrup and the notorious Pineapple Bun with Butter . Yum!

Shannon Chow

They are famous for it's polo bun , egg tarts and breakfast set is available. I had the beef slice instant noodles with eggs , ham + sausage & milk tea .

L M

Omg, anyone in HK needs to try their polo bun and egg tarts ! It was packed so keep in mind that you may have to share a table with other people.

Allie Quinn

Famous for their pineapple buns with thick slabs of butter! Very popular and crowded , so there might be a wait, but it won't be long. It's a place for a quick meal . English menus are available.

Raed K

Iced coffee , pineapple bun , French toast , and egg tart are amazing. I'm going back for the Iced coffee for sure. Piece of advice, eat with your hands or you'll be the elephant in the room.

Katrina

Best Pineapple Bun I've eaten in HK. Big with a crunchy top. I got the roast pork filling and it was delicious!! $20 for bun . $18 for iced milk tea . Great lunch !

Kayson Khai Theng

Good service ! Their staff always throw a nice smiley. I hardly comment a "good service " to any cafe/restaurant in Hong Kong and this is definitely worth for the good comment.

jansen c

Pineapple buns at its best, hot milk tea also very high standard. French toast is also recommended. However, beware of the rude service and very tight sitting space..!!

Damon Teow

Nice service, the boss is humor and fun, but do remember each person need to order 1 drink if you having here. The boss will teach you how to eat their food if you are eating it wrongly, Haha.

Steron.s

Better than MIDO Cafe n Australia dairy. At least tarts , drinks are far more tastier. Order like this is good enough for first trial

Donald Kee

The pineapple with anything is good. The milk tea and ice lemon tea is my best. Chicken chop noodle is also nice.

Yarn Lam

The pineapple bun with butter is great. Crispy flaky crust on top crunches when you bite into the soft bun !

Kailey L.

Known for their egg tart , pineapple bun and milk tea . I find the tart and bun only okay, a bit on the sweet side. Though the egg tart has lots of egg custard than usual.

KC Koo

One of the very famous char chan tang in Mongkok, other than the pineapple buns , Mexican buns is my favourite too.

Commintomylife

Typical HK breakfast .. Pineapple bun + ice lemon tea were about $25. A great place to be surrounded by locals and escape from the british expat community !

VotreX Tan

They have the best staff , buns , and milk tea ! Very cramped tables though, so HK-style.

???? laikuen

Egg tarts and yuen yong is really good. Doll noodles are pretty decent too. But these char chan tengs are pretty similar in hongkong, just branding, branding, branding.

KT

I must say the service here improved a lot compared to 10 years back :D the polo bun is to die for!

JingXun Hu

Fried rice , French toast , milk tea . Obliging staff despite the buzz. Double-fronted shophouse. Don't be choosy over seating

ᴡ Lau

The butter filled "pineapple " bun is to die for! (Its called pineapple bun cuz the surface looks remotely like a pineapple , so don't worry, its just the name!)

Yarn Lam

The pot of syrup on the table is for the French toast ! Drizzle it on for sweet fluffy eggy toast !

Emily Reed

Love the pineapple bun with butter !

Taryn Bownes

Queue outside always a sign of good food! Sit tightly with your eating companions. Good pineapple bun , milk tea , custard tarts , big portions . Delish.

Alex Dobyan

When you eat your pineapple bun , save the butter pad for last - it will have melted into some hella delicious bun territory.

Chew Elaine

French toast is ???? .. Can be better if compare to all the char chan teng in HK

Kate

Loved the pineapple bun with butter - came fresh out of the oven

Kimmo Reinikainen

Fried noodle w/ sliced beef & veggies , maybe even Singapore style? Portions are farely big. Pineapple bun w/ butter and egg tart for dessert .

Vincent Loo

Ilin Lin

Love the carrot cake ! Other dishes generally good too.

Angelito Montes

Another well know HK cafe , had the pinapplebun wz butter, over all I find the bun a bit dry for my taste...

Manda L

Toast toast toast is good. Somehow ordered the pork chop bun ????, it's really cannot one so skip it.

Yin

Best polo bun ! Must add butter in between 菠萝油

Shirley

Egg tarts , Pineapple Bun and Hong Kong Style French toast

Kat ????

I expected the pineapple bun with butter to be warm and soft, but it turned out to be room temperature.. The top of the bun is really flaky, but the bottom part was too doughy.

Hsini

Yes yes yes those buns and milk tea . Each person needs to order a drink even if you order a hundred buns to eat.

Chew Elaine

Try the milk tea / polo bun ~~~ u won't regret

Adam D'arcy

Milk tea is awesome. Ask for bing de nai cha (cold ice tea )

Andy Teo
