awesome location in dc. reagan 's attempted assassination was here and the White House correspondents dinner is every year. if you order anything at the restaurant/bar, you can bring it to your room
The Hilton has a high-end sound system that runs an eclectic and interesting mix in their public restrooms . After a 5-day meeting (#AMIA2014), I really appreciated the acoustic oasis from the noise.
Don't get this place confused with one of several other Hiltons in DC. A decent stay. Often several parties going on, so ask for a quiet floor if you have business meetings then next morning.
Very nice hotel . Great staff . However walls in rooms are very thin. Someone was smoking next to me and it was all in my room. Room rate was adjusted. Rooms were very modern.
Excellent location to explore the city . The pool is a bonus in the warm weather. Parking can be quite pricey so book a room and park rate.
The home of the White House correspondents dinner . Nice rooms. Great location for DuPont circle and onsite coffee bean! Great hotel staff .
Lauriol Plaza - the best Mexican in NW DC - is very close. Exit using theTerrace/Convention level, walk left on "T" two blocks & you are there. There is other food and embassy row over there as well .
Looking for the pool or fitness center ? Both are at the very end of the hallway, past FedEx, on the Terrace floor
Great place to stay when in DC! Convenient location to the Metro and located in one of the best neighborhoods !
Nice hotel with large rooms. Has a good location too. A good option to stay if you are in DC.
Many complaints about poor water pressure but ours was great. The location is convenient to public transit and shopping centers. The restaurants inside are way more expensive than they're worth tho.
There is a great little liquor store on the corner... Much better than 19.25 for a double shot of Jack Daniel's! Nice hotel overall though
One of Washington's most historic hotels . The Washington Hilton is the site of the annual White House Correspondents Dinner . Notable hosts include Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon & Conan O'Brien.
The rooms can be tricky to locate so I recommend reading the signs or else you will wander for 20 mins like everyone else who is looking for their room.
Really helpful staff . Lovely big rooms , clean , comfortable and excellent location.
Friday nights they have a happy hour with free soda , beer , and wine (they also had really tasty sangria when I was there)!
Really great hotel . Try and get a room on the Connecticut Ave side
Large hotel , but they still mange great service. Pity about the new building obscuring the view of DC
Pretty and comfortable modern hotel , unfortunately forever linked with the attempted assassination of the greatest president of the 20th century.
Great place to stay in DC! Fantastic neighborhood and Hilton quality. Sign up for HHonors program before you come.
Exceptional service, especially front desk and housekeeping. The business center is now the Fed Ex Center and internet access is .40 a min. No free access to a computer to check in for flight.
Good service great location
$13 for the convenience of having wifi your room for 24 hrs!!! But free in the lobby. Would've been great if it was free in the room too...
The health center (gym ) is above average for a hotel . A good variety of machines and free weights
Pay the extra fee to stay on the executive floor. Nice lounge with wifi and snacks !
This is the new host hotel for WCR welcome to all our members from across the USA thanks for your dedication see you in the halls
I loved the lobbby bar 's library-style plentiful power outlets for every drinker!
Love the pillows . DC is great!
Great restaurants selection in walking distance... location is great.
RaKu is an awesome sushi place. It's at Q & 19th, just 1 block north of Dupont Circle.
Thin walls- - you can hear conversations in next rooms and in halls. Crank AC before bed- comforters are nice but too warm in hot weather and there is no other blanket.
Enjoyed weekend stay. Pleasant service at check in and restaurant .
Home of the White House Correspondents’ Association annual dinner . In 1924, Calvin Coolidge became the first of 14 presidents to attend this annual dinner . Get your wonk on at http://NBCPolitics.com
The walls are thin, I can hear the tv next door. The water pressure is lacking. BUT the service has been great, it's a great location, lots going in area.
Valet parking is expensive !! $22 before tip for an hour and a half! Save yourself some cash and use public parking and walk a bit if just there for a conference , etc.
Hang out in the lobby.. Such a mix of pompous sales folk and folks pretending to be more important than they really are
Love the new WCR hotel ! The balcony/deck area is a great place to network and view the city !

Don't plan to have large group functions here. Our bus tour had to wait on the curb. Everything had to be moved outside, including serving bag lunches on the ground because we couldn't use the tables.
Hotel with a great location but in need of a major renovation. The carpet, walls, room furniture are all showing their age.
Nice rooms, pretty hotel and good staff . Walls are very thin.
For real though... The porters are just a little over zealous at the cab stand!!
President Obama spoke on the role of faith in his life and in society during the National Prayer Breakfast . Read more
Fight Night is held here each year.
Corner rooms offer a great view of DuPont and other parts of the city
Had a 24 hour stay here. On the surface it's a typical Hilton property. We had no running water and a non-flushing toilet . Bad but they agreed to comp the room as a result so overall no complaints.
Their "self parking " is a robbery.. $36 for overnight parking , should be free!!
Central location and great staff
If you're walking or biking to Dupont, use 19th instead for safety's sake. Exit the hotel on the Terrace Level and turn left.
The people here are nice and friendly . They bring southern hospitality to the district.
Very big. Nice if you are having a conference. We had everything map out for us and only got lost once out of 4 days we were there while looking for our meeting room. - Maddy B.
Great service. Very attentive. Chicken Drumlettes were huge. - Maddy B.
Kirk makes a new-fangled Old-Fashioned with Pomegranate juice. Bitters & sweet. And Makers Mark. - Stafford Kendall
The food is the bomb! Order the Lemon Seafood Fettuccine! Best Seafood that I have ever had! - Joe Philon Jr.
Lovely hotel. Great location near the Whitehouse. Breakfast was very good - try the smoothies, and crab cake Benedict. - Megan Luff
Front desk gentleman who checked us in was so sweet and kind despite our late check in. Perfect size room, comfy bed, and close to tons of restaurants and bars. Great hotel :) - Cara Pavia
Great for hanging out, and a nice shortcut for navigating the maze of streets. - Stephen Victor
