Omni Shoreham Hotel

Beautiful, historic hotel in lovely area of DC. Staff is fantastic, especially the hot bartender Bo from Georgia. Highly recommend staying here as there is easy access to Woodley Park-Zoo Metro.

Nice Jacuzzi (though could be hotter, good after arriving from the airport ) and beautiful garden (with fountain great to sit and have a couple of beers in the evening/night )

Clean and comfortable home base for the family vacation in DC. Very convenient to the metro and friendly little restaurants in the neighborhood . Rooms are large, quiet , and secure with comfy beds .

There is only one Omni Shoreham. It's full of history and grandeur. If you haven't been inside, it's a must see. Make sure to check out the garden in the back especially in April.

Rooms are spacious and clean . The pool is fantastic for those DC summers. Don’t bother with breakfast , save your wallet and enjoy a better meal at Open City across the street.

Great hotel , the wifi is okay if you are in the correct room. The hotel has a great style and the beds are great.

While the front is less-than-impressive, the rear garden is quite scenic and pleasant. Outdoor pool can be warm & busy in summer: just a relaxing pool not a swimming/lap pool.

Warning: If you check in late at night, they may not have a room for you. Maybe corporate gives them a bonus for overselling -- booting those who get a deal and keeping those who overpay.

Skip the lobby bar - walk across Calvert to one of the restaurants on Connecticut or 24th. Adams Morgan Metro stop is close - save in taxis and experience the awesome escalator ride!

Cheaper parking options in the area. Overnight hotel parking is $41+ incl taxes. There is public parking on Calvert a few blocks away for $20. Or park on street. Tickets are $30 if you stay 2+ hours.

If ordering room service , I highly suggest the Crab Cake sandwich and mac n' cheese . Not the healthiest, but absolutely delicious.

The Metro station is just right across the street from here, so transportation will be convenient.
