Great old hotel with impeccable service . It's also supposedly haunted. Great view of the White House from 9th floor dining room.

This Beaux-Arts icon holds pride of place at the White House’s front door. At night, the hotel’s Off the Record bar is the after-work hangout for politicos of all stripes.

Fantastic hotel , great service and lovely people, but crazy expensive breakfast . Had American breakfast , and asked for two slices of toast extra. Those two slices of normal bread : 12 dollars. Wow.

It's on haunted places list-a nice stopover when touring historic sites . Staff were accommodating. Nice wood-bar downstairs, updated Classic old-world styles in downtown walking distance to everything

The hotel offered a perfect blend of comfort and luxury . The bed was incredibly comfortable , and the bathroom was stocked with high-end toiletries. The staff made us feel pampered.

Lovely hotel . Great location near the Whitehouse. Breakfast was very good - try the smoothies , and crab cake Benedict .

Amazing lobster . Try the Washingtonian for a cocktail , it is seasonal but they make it on request.
