Beautiful historic hotel . Close to the White House, Washington Monument and Holocaust Museum . Had great view of the Washington Monument from our room.
Great hotel , in amazing building. Great location next to the White House and within walking distance from the Mall and several interesting museums . Try crab cakes in Café du Parc, they are amazing!
Everyone from Martin Luther King Jr. to Mark Twain has stayed at The Willard. Be sure to check out the famed Round Robin Bar , where the mint julep is our favorite cocktail .
This is a lovely setting for high tea , and the scones are quite good. Live harp music on Friday-Sunday. The finger sandwiches are ho-hum, as is the tea itself. The hostess is more than a bit snooty.
What a incredible.. By Member as AmbassadorProgram, how we have been getting so many privileges as 1st class .. Moreover we bring a baby who need special service for. Like our home, we love stay here..
My favorite place to stay in DC. Historical place where the term "Lobbyist" was originally coined by local politicians. MLK wrote the famous "I have a dream" speech at the hotel as well .
The Willard is one of the best hotel properties in DC. A refugee from the chaos in the heart of the city .
Great location, spacious room and good service . It's an honor to stay in this historic hotel . Breakfast should be tier 1, only compared within American hotels . Food choices are fewer than Asian IHGs.
I really liked this hotel and hope to try their restaurants next time. Only thing that I would have liked is a refreshed modern shower . Ordered steak medium rare via room service it was cooked medium.
A great IHG reward night redemption. Close to sightseeing and great restaurants . Can be busy during cherry blossom season.
Check out the photo I took of the historical Washington Willard Hotel , shaped like ship as seen from roof top of Washington Press Club.
Just look up this hotel on Wikipedia and read about its history... It's amazing! Gorgeous place
Fitzgerald and his wife, Zelda, stayed at this 335-room grand dame shortly after their 1920 marriage. They saidthe hotel smelled "of peaches & hot biscuit & the cindery aroma of travelling salesmen"
Beaux arts beauty with a ton of history. Yes it’s dated, but it’s grand and reasonably cared for
Grand old dame hotel brimming with history! Spacious rooms with lots of storage. Good concierge service. Wonderful position for sightseeing
Beautiful hotel with incredible rooms. The food is pretty overpriced, but the room and spa are worth every penny!
One of the oldest hotels we have ever stepped foot in& it's flawless!!! Gorgeous decor and very well kept!!!!
Love this hotel , friendly staff and awesome decor. Their food is delicious as well :-)
Wonderful teatime. Great merchandise for families named Willard to buy and show off.

Thanks for everything Willard! Everything was perfect! See you next time we are in DC. We are off to Scotland!
Such an amazing vibe from the moment you walk in! Don't forget to head into their history museum .
Special treat: The Willard InterContinental (washington.intercontinental.com) has hosted Abraham Lincoln, Charles Dickens, Martin Luther King and David Lloyd George. Rooms from $259/£172.
We had a great lunch outside. Love the cute birds on the terrace .

A DC institution with an amazing rooftop bar .
Feeling like "Boardwalk Empire?" Rub elbows with the district most powerful in this classic style hotel bar . The only thing that would make this place perfect is being able to light up a fat stogie
The lobby of this hotel is where Julia Ward wrote "The Battle Hymn of the Republic," and where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote his renowned "I Have a Dream" speech.
Be sure to visit the museum in the lobby. Lots of history
Old classic at reasonable price for the location
I've heard that Mark Twain used to like strolling down "peacock alley" -- then would run outside down 14th St. and do it again!
These little mousse cups were amazing!
Great hotel . Chef Geoff's has a great menu right around the corner on 13th.
So beautiful especially at the holidays
There's a creepy photo on the 6th floor.
Rooms are big and bright . Plenty of space to put your stuff
Service was great, rooms beautiful!!
Don't just walk into the lobby! Stay the night if you have the cash. It is so historical!

Grand, historical hotel! Even if you can't stay, well worth a visit to witness the interior; or grab a drink at the scotch bar or Round Robin bar, which claims to be the origin of the mint julep. - Andrew Doll
This was a great hotel. The Starbucks is a bit lethargic, but the rest of the hotel is great. - Jack Virdee
