Study the photo a little closer & u will notice fried pork lard cubes in the oil. Together with chopped spring onions & chai por, & fried shallots , they give the porridge here interesting bite & aroma
The proportion of fat and meat in their pork ball is magical... the marinade cant be replicated! I always order extra ‘bak chor’... eat at 5pm, less waiting time !
Porridge worth the wait... meanwhile u can buy chwee kueh, carrot cake or qing teng to eat... hahaha...
Best porridge so far.
Fantastic. There's a long waiting time during peak hours. You have been warned.
Try the fish porridge and the sugarcane juice from the stall that is situated just beside it! Wonderful combination
Waiting time . Expect to wait 20-30 minutes for your orders during peak meal times & weekends
With the prices, one shouldn't complain. They serve the porridge when it is ready.
Always long wait ... but you can order other food to munch while waiting
Pork Porridge is decent. 3min waiting time on a Tuesday night 8.25pm.
Come when it's raining & there's no queue! Just a 5 min wait for the porridge .
Minced pork only porridge with egg is the best
Standard kind of drop. Very sad. Make special trip to eat this????
Waiting time is 30 to 40 mins.. And it's worth the wait!
Closed on Sundays
What also good. Except for waiting time .
Be prepared to wait. But hey, there is a price to pay for good food.
Pork porridge . Yum
The Q is always long even before 12 noon! Wah Lau today kana someone tapow like 20 packs! The line literally cannot move for 15 mins! Siow Liao! - Jansen Ek
The egg is indeed very generous, well cooked. Can see that the uncle puts his heart into preparing it. - Tenzin Khoo
Best Satay in town, cheap and yummy!! Dried pork is yummy too!! Even kids love it! - Suwanti Tan
The rice, yam version, is good. The rice is cooked just nice. Add the homemade gravy....hmmm???????????? - Arthur Foong
For $3 a plate, there is a lot of ingredients on it. In fact, more than the bee hoon. Satay sauce is also quite thick and fragrant. Definitely worth a try. - Ting
Goodness ! Food here....? Er..... Lets put it this way. Will not be stepping inside this restaurant anymore. :S - GoldFinger
Lau Phua Chay Roasted Rice! The roasted pork was CRISPYYY. Not too fat, tender. The chat siew is sweet and tender. Very good! - Bernard Lim
Kopi has an unsettling aroma. Not enjoyable. This cuppa of Kopi-O kosong ‘di lok’ (undiluted) $1.10! - Cheen The Curious
