I ordered the Black Ramen (w bok choy ), the Jinya Bun and the Salmon Poke Tacos .... AMAZING!!! Im from CT and I always make it a mission to find Ramen when I come to LA! Everything tasted wonderful!!!

Eater

With an evenly balanced bowl and Hakata-style noodles , it's like old faithful in the landscape of all these new shops. Jinya has a fun fast casual shop in Hollywood & Highland as well . Read more

I believe this was my first time having authentic Japanese Ramen . I’m a fan of spice, so I went with the spicy chicken ramen . Mild ,not too hot, and you can ask for extra noodles if you run out!

Ruthie O

Tonkatsu Black Ramen !!! Hands down one of the best ramen ... perfect al dente THIN noodles in a flavorful velvety yummy tasty broth...& the deep fried truffle flavor Brussel sprouts ...truly captivating

Patty Gopez

Not a big ramen fan but this place is pretty darn good! The spicy miso ramen is on point and I dream about the Jinya Bun , a symphony of pork belly goodness. Can't go wrong with their sushi either!

JNET

Busy but wait time goes by quickly. Yay! Very tasty and filling cha cha cha ramen bowl (good to share w someone you are cozy with.). Yay! Seaweed salad was more salad greens than seaweed . Boo!

Jennifer

The Tonkotsu Black ramen is fantastic (like others have noted), but I have to rave about the Brussels Sprouts . These little fried morsels of deliciousness will convert any sprouts hater.

Sarah Dope

Tonkotsu black is classic. Not too long ago they added "cha cha cha" if you feel like going fatty (but delicious) and love garlic ! Either way, ask for fresh garlic , as well .

Melissa S.

Seriously, some of the richest, most authentic ramen I have had in the U.S. (and I have ramened it up in Japan)! The curry rice , however, is also delicious; worth a try if you're not a big ramen fan.

Caroline Lukas

They really served delicious ramen . I ate spicy chicken ramen , fried gyoza , curry rice and mochi ice cream for dessert . All tasted soooo good ! will be back here for sure ☺️

Herbrockone

The Black Special Ramen with egg and extra garlic is pretty good. Extra garlic is free. The service is great. Prices are reasonable and you don't have to go to lil tokyo or lil osaka for bomb ramen

Jay Jay

I got the special Ramen of the day which was a garlic shrimp Ramen . It was flavorful and well balanced.

Michael Mahoney

Super duper Tonkotsu Black Ramen and Gyoza combo! Worth a visit.

Brad

Jinya buns were a surprising happiness! Service was a little slow, but this overcast Monday did result in a full restaurant , so willing to give a pass on this. Good ramen !

Sasha Naomi

Salmon Poke Tacos and Jinya Bun during Happy Hour is a great steal!

Mark Shifflet

Best ramen experience ever. Unbelievable flavor—and great service. Give the tempura brussel sprouts a shot.

Jason C

Usually super packed with customers and with good reason. Great ramen served fast by friendly staff .

bathory

God this place is so good. Spicy chicken ramen (spicy !) with gyoza and salad is the ultimate. Get it to go if they're busy!

Lara

Eat: Spicy Tonkatsu . Ask for it to be with thick noodles , and with the spiciest level. You're welcome.

Amonlaya

Tonkotsu Spicy hits the spot. Adding the special flavored egg & fresh garlic completes it. Leaves you thirsty afterwards. Gotta love MSG.

Jeffrey ????️inette

Exactly what you'd expect at a ramen bar ! Excellent food and a chill casual dinning experience

Shane Goodoff

Always an awesome time. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is Great!

Amanda Natividad

Here, the noodles have some snap when you bite into them. My faves are the original tonkatsu ramen and the spicy miso ramen .

Baum

Not bad when you're hungry for ramen and you don't feel like driving out of the Valley. Tried the shoyu tonkotsu and wonton -- both good. Gyoza surprisingly good.

Justin Ordoveza

The pork bun is an unctuous little bite of heaven.

Niraj Lal

Best ramen in LA. If you can handle a kick, go for the tonkotsu red, it's out of this world good.

Jillian

Not my favorite ramen I've had to date (don't throw rocks at me), but their special egg is LEGIT - just look at that yolk !

RTWgirl Arnette

Can get pretty busy during peak times. Be ready to wait or don't come starving then

AJ Feuerman

Delicious! Had pork tokotsu black. Get the thinner noodles .

May Chang

Try the Shio Tonkotsu Ramen - Boyfriend's ramen . Same pork shio flavored ramen but no garlic oil so creamier tasting. Yum!

Salvador

The Hiyashi Chuka (cold ramen ) is on the menu during the summer and very good!

Sarina Arceo

Chicken Jinya ramen is the best! So light yet so flavorful!

Claudine L.

Great broth and melt-in-your-mouth chashu . One of the best ramen houses in So Cal.

Nina J

one of the best ramen places in Studio City but crowded on weekends very slow service

Ryeanne Aubrey Reyes

Original tonkotsu is still the best ????

gina din

spicy creamy vegan ramen is to dieee for ????

P.Diddy Diddy

So much better than the one on Wilshire. Jinya Bun is a must try!

JNET

Very yummy ramen . Spicy "mild" is nowhere spicy though. Go ahead and order spicy !!!

Zeee

Love their ramen ! Serving size is good, too!

dale watson

Whichever ramen u get, ask for half cooked egg & garlic (its free & not overbearing) i recommend shoyu btw

Athena Kate

Takoyaki and the white tonkatsu are the bomb! ????

Suzanne

Really delicious but beware that they charge $1 for extra bean sprouts ! Seriously, it was like 5 cents worth if that!??

Kell Bell

Get the combo ramen deal (with tonkotsu ramen ) and come hungry. Scratch that. Come famished. The broth is like heroin.

Jacqueline Fernandez

Good food and prices but the service is on the crappier side. I'm doing take out next time after being ignored as I waited to be seated. lots of empty tables too & many people waiting. bad.

Steven Lau

Get the lighter broth for your tonkotsu ramen - less oil and less sodium.

Hanh

Tonkotsu ramen , ordered "extra rich" is soooo good, but hydrate during and afterwards. The combo deals are good, but huge ... perhaps best shared.

Lauren Aufiero

i had a phenomenal lunch potion the other day. while you can split a potion, i preferred to have a whole potion all to myself.

Lee Simpson

Consistently amazing ramen .

Joey Pontanilla

Add butter, mushrooms and special flavored egg for a big flavor boost.

Michael Cimarusti, chef of Providence, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Miso ramen . Read more
