Small, well-curated selection of booths without much competition. Get there early for first pick, the best produce is gone by 10:30am.
Update: Duncan Dairy is no longer here. They hope to be back later in fall 2011, maybe not till spring 2012. A loss for the market , milk was excellent and there's no other milk here.
Of the gluten free options at Meredith's bread , the strawberry-rhubarb pie is particularly delightful.

Much smaller than Union Square, lots of veggies , turkey , seafood and plants. Never too crowded .
Go to Sakura Hana on Hudson St. and W. 12th for fresh, delicious sushi ! Ask for Floyd and order the James Roll! :)
There is great milk here now from Duncan Dairy near Troy. Glass bottles , not homogenized, delicious!
Try the muffins near the Bleecker St entrance...delicious and fresh!!
Too bad it's only open on Saturdays. (wonder how the new mayor was crowned on a Thursday? Un-cool)
