Been here 3x this week. Service always solid and food and coffee have been delightful. Great reading spot in afternoon. Loud on the weekend.
Breakfast or lunch , get the mushrooms with polenta and poached egg . They're always on the specials menu and with good reason: they'll blow your mind.
Coffees are piping hot (always a good sign) and a dedicated take-out area means you can take the mood around the corner to the State Library lawn.
Friendly service and coffee from Newtown, Sydney - campos. Apparently Mr Tulk was the owners high school maths teacher and they became friends in his class . Hence where the name came from.
Great for a read or a bit of work while enjoying a nice coffee .
Great coffee and fries , good atmosphere though a little noisy at times.
Great to work in. Portion sizes aren't huge, but delicious.
This place got me through uni. Super friendly staff , great coffee , and that meatball flatbread . Heaven!
Best coffee I found in the city !!! Love it here <3
The gin-cured salmon is outstanding.

A little pricey but I'm addicted to the avocado on toast with fresh lime . Sublime with a long black.

Nice little spot tucked under the library .
Great brunch menu
Great breakfast
Best nicoise I've ever had!
Good coffee , but if you're looking for a quick takeaway , definitely not the place for you - it's quite a long wait .
Michael Togias is a disgusting person. He is abusive and horrible. The State Library should be embarrassed to have such a misogynistic pig as their cafe manager. AVOID THIS BUSINESS
Lovely coffee , interesting atmosphere, good service .
Order a flat white and the spinach breakfast bake. Although 98% of all breakfast items are awesome
Great coffee , but be prepared to wait. Staff to busy being beautiful people
