Start with an Oyster and Deviled Egg and DON'T MISS the Saffron Tonnarelli with the local dungeness crab - a perfect bowl of pasta !!! I'll be back to try more!
The after-dinner menu features spiced profiteroles paired with a velvety spoonful of muscovado-spiced ice cream , as well as a warm chocolate souffle tart beside a dollop of salted caramel ice cream . Read more
The deviled egg at Octavia is a delight. The creaminess of the runny yolk combined with the bold Marash pepper spices & Fresno chile relish makes for one exciting bite. Read more
We got the vegetarian tasting menu and were absolutely stuffed even before the dessert course. We loved the spinach salad with fig and white balsamic, and also the eggplant soup !
I think that was the best vegetarian food I ever had.Beside that the duck and the halibut were amazing, too. And the desserts …puh… really, really good. Will come again.
The famous soft-boiled egg is a must, as are any of the fresh pastas . A cozy , minimalist dining room is the scene in this lower Pacific Heights spot. Read more
Words can't even describe how amazing this place is. Things to try: calamari , deviled egg , king salmon , tagliatelle , and strawberry poppy seed profiteroles.
Great for dates. Amazing food, service and ambience. Every dish we had blew us away -- devil egg , oysters mignonette, squid ink noodles , halibut , lentil squash soup , saffron Tonnarelli
Everything was delicious! We found portions to be quite generous. If sampling a variety of dishes, consider splitting an entrée to enable achieving one of their wonderful desserts .
Awesome meal! Tasting menu was very well thought out. Favorites were: deviled egg , steak , fig salad , zucchini pasta , chocolate cake
Pasta here is so good. Pappardelle with chanterelles , brown butter , & sweet corn was so good we ordered a second one. Atmospheric room, good service . Genuine and unforced brilliance.
You can’t be a top restaurant and have 10 people be near your table when you begin your dinner during 15 mn as no place for new guests to wait for their table !!!
Cute restaurant , great service, delicious food! Recommend the bread , deviled egg , squid ink pasta , chocolate tart ... all of it!
Start with the house vermouth cocktail . Order the cold squid ink noodles , salmon belly and the quail . Finish with the chocolate souffle . All delicious!
Food was great and considering the service and ambiance, totally fairly priced . Tables are a bit close together because it's a small space. Wouldn't make my top top top list.
The deviled egg was really interesting and tasty. Get the bread ! I wish I had bought a loaf to go. I had the polenta , which was incredible.
Wide-ranging, well-priced wine list , great ambience, and solid menu options including the tomato soup , tagliatelle , deviled egg , and delicious bread .
Nice atmosphere. Lighting. And not too noisy which is always pleasant compared to many restaurants in San Francisco
Simply fantastic. We had the tasting menu and loved it. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was relaxed. Highly recommended.
Autumn squash , kibo farm little gems (actually an amazing green salad ) and duck breast . Plus pinot noir . ❤️
The chicken with grilled stone fruit , white corn , chanterelles , and green beans is an enticing entrée. Read more
Awesome experience - bread is amazing, the pappardelle carbonara , deviled egg , and squid ink noodles
Delicious soup , excellent vermouth cocktails (no full bar ), and huge rib-eye portions.
The quail and the aguachile are amazing! The corn lasagna is also very interesting and good!
Deviled egg was a must! Tomato salad , prawn pasta , and ricotta dumplings were also delicious.
Best brussels sprouts Ive ever had. Squid ink pasta also very delicious.
The deviled egg and the duck were perfectly cooked. You must try them!
The deviled eggs and duck breast . So good.
Romantic spot , great food and nice staff . A neighborhood gem !
Everything was good. Even all of the desserts .
Don't miss the deviled egg or the duck . Great place.
Perfectly executed dishes
Deviled eggs , tomato salad and tuna were absolutely delicious.
Try their house Vermouth cocktail . Flavorful and not going to get you wasted before dessert .
Tagliatelle , petit fillet and bread are amazing
The bread and the vermouth . Bouillabaisse on point.
Loved the heirloom melon and the red snapper .
The duck breast is out of this world.
The petit fillet is very rich and tasty.
Melissa Perello (of Frances)'s new spot
The food was ok. Nothing blew my mind though, it was just ok. Price for 3 tiny appetizers , 2 main courses, and a bottle of wine ($50), was $210, including tip. Not coming back again.
Don't miss the desserts !
Good atmosphere and tasty food.
Everything is great!
Tasty squid ink noodles
I am not sure what is the deal with Americans....but i am convinced they know nothing about food..especially gourmet food.
Pappardelle was great, deviled egg was a bit overrated
Everything
Best corn soup I've ever had.
Good place for a date night .
Beautiful space, food, and service. Make reservations. Try a number of dishes and end with a shot of peanut milk. - Bommy
Overlooked as an equally amazing dinner spot. Inventive and tasty dishes! Great wines. - Kiana Lynn
Great place (and nice people) to chill after a long walk at the Marina. Good service. - David Verbustel
The music was phenomenal, very intimate venue with a great sound system. - Aaron Atkins
So glad this Portland staple is now in SF. My go to is the sea salt ice cream with caramel ribbons but the seasonal berry flavors are a must try when in season - Ashley Spears
This venue melts my heart. Have seen various ballets and operas here and have always enjoyed the experience. Last night's nutcracker was magical! - Megan Masters
