Modern very comfortable boutique hotel , centrally located near everything with great service and staff (like Igor at the entrance and Jemima in housekeeping) who go out of their way for a great stay????

Annoying front revolving door, otherwise well priced for clean , modern and relatively large rooms.

Minimalist well located (in West End, near Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden , Piccadilly Circus , Soho, Regent Street, theatres etc) boutique hotel with good service . A keeper!

“Hidden” bar after hours is a great place for a late night drink!

I love the interior design , bedlinen, rooms and cocktails among many other things in St. Martin's Lane Hotel. My favourite place to stay while in London.

One of the best and well located boutique hotels in London. Preferable not to get a room in the front as can be somewhat noisy on weekends.

This place is still as cool, modern and popular as the day it opened. The staff is terrific and the location is unbeatable. Try to book one of the rooms with your own private garden !

Rooms dripping with swank and boasting enormous tiled bathrooms . Get an extra duvet for maximal coziness .

Across the street is: St. Martins Spice -an Indian restaurant . We liked the Chicken Tikka Masala , very tender and mild. (Many people like more spice than me, so don't forget to ask for some heat!)

Swanky ! Mood lighting in the rooms, unexpected amenities , but a bit difficult to find from the street (there’s no signs out front).

My only beef with this hotel is the Internet connection keeps dropping and I have to re-enter my code again and again. Otherwise a slick hotel for the modern traveller.

Your start finish of this tour is the hotel . It's a decent 8.4 miles so you may want to grab a bite to eat in Asia de Cuba first!

Ask for one of the garden rooms. They're slightly bigger and have an outside bit with plants.

The Phillippe Stark bar is stunning. But (on the Friday night I went) full of suits & a stag do. Also stunningly over priced.

So fashionably discreet and understated that from the outside you can't even tell it's a hotel . If you're looking for it, it's between the Coliseum & Gymbox .

The attention to detail in these rooms is astounding.

White very white and I'm not sure about the flower pot on the bedroom wall and no door in the bathroom . comfy pillows nevertheless

What hotel does come with a sign to say you've arrived? In case you walk passed it, this hotel is next to La Roche. The designer thought it hip to leave a sign off the hotel façade. Idiot!
