A magnificent organisation committed to furthering our scientific understanding. To be surrounds by such history is inspiring. Lovely little café too!

Adrian Hon

Despite the fact the entrance is very unwelcoming, this place *is* open to the public. There's a great little museum in the basement with Faraday 's scientific instruments and such

The bar at the Ri is a fab place for a cocktail and a decent bite to eat. In the evenings you can get a lovely platter to share whilst at lunch time they do great British gastro pub style dishes.

Iain Macrae

The science history in this place is simply awesome. Get a chance to see a lecture here, chances are it will be fantastic. Look out for Bryson Gore, an experimental legend and fountain of knowledge

Becky Williams

Beautiful building steeped in scientific history. Check out the seasonal programme of interesting talks, including The Christmas Lectures.

Jenny Stewart

Great lectures, fantastic old lecture theatre . Get there early for sold out talks though or you might end up sitting on the floor.

Londonist

10 chemical elements discovered here; 14 Nobel Prizes. A simply stunning history. But also a very welcoming, modern place with cafe , bar , restaurant and museum if you can get past the stuffy facade.
