Still in soft open and with service and prep times a bit rough around the edges at time of writing, the Nolita outpost of Nom Wah nevertheless carries the superb DNA of the mothership effortlessly.
New cashless dim sum location in NoLita. Come with a group and prepare to share. The shrimp and pork sui mai and Chinese greens were true standouts.
It’s hard to pick just one favorite dish from the dim sum wizards at Nom Wah, but the delicate, steamed shrimp and snow pea leaf bundles are definitely up there. Read more
The shrimp and snow pea dumplings are a can't miss! Everything else here is great and it is quick to order if you come for lunch . If you want dinner , I still recommend the original Nom Wah .
Quick, easy and delicious. Not as good as the original but certainly does the trick. Greens were excellent and dumplings were awesome as usual.
Delicious dim sum all day. Shrimp and snow pea dumplings , Chinese greens , even the noodle soups are great.
Expect the dim sum classiks but they best stuff here are the freshly made dishes. My favorites are the jellyfish salad , kohlrabi salad , any of the rice options (the corn fried rice is dope).
Excellent xiao long bao / soup dumplings at their new Nolita location. Dough may be a bit on the thick side but the flavour is ????
The steamed pork ribs and the kohlrabi salad are a great quick lunch .
Their xiao long bao / pork soup dumpling is amazing flavorful. 4 dumplings for $5.50 is an amazing deal!!! This is a fast casual place compared to the one in C-town
Ribs + fried rice + share some dim sum = perfect meal here.
Shrimp & Snowpea dumpling is my fave! Aside from it taste delicious, it's so pretty looking!
The dim sum was delicious and the ribs were flavorful and tender. Fell right off the bone
Ribs , dumplings , and fried rice are great. Love that you can order and pay yourself.
Order some soup noodles from the iPads. Milk tea is also pretty dope.
The ribs completely came clean off the bone - delicious! Also, the milk tea was pretty solid - not too sugary, and definitely not made from powder.
Dank Shank noodles ????✨ only available on the weekends.
DIM SUM ! Try a bunch of dishes and share with a group. The noodles are great and dumplings are delicious. Clean
Small Popup shop good for takeout or grab and go. Service is slow and menu choices are limited. Good quality, really limited seating .
Siu mai and turnt up turnip cake is the best!! Shrimp dumplings taste like plastic though
The service, ambiance, and food are all mediocre-to-good. It’s not worth a special trip but will satisfy your craving for dumplings !
To all my Pennsylvania people living in the Grid: this establishment is the Wawa of dim sum .
Skip the soup dumplings and go for the pork + shrimp shu mai
Go to the original nom wah .. Overall experience is better at the original restaurant..
I recommend the Chinese greens (sauce and onions really elevate it) ????????
Chicken leg is a bit herbal for my tastebuds
Ho fun noodle soup was eh but the pork buns and shrimp dumplings hit the spot!
Not as much attention to detail as the original. Seems like they’re in a hurry. Thick dough on all the dumplings , but somehow the soup dumplings came leaking ????
If you're thinking of going here, I'd skip it. There are a lot of other great dim sum places that aren't too far. Portions are small, overpriced, and average at best. Thoroughly disappointing.
Greens. Shrimp dumpling . Ginger tea
They treated my hangover so well . Thank you
Soup dumplings and pancakes
Not as good as the original one -- very limited options and small portions. Sitting was uncomfortable, more of a snack spot and not really a sitdown place to enjoy dimsums .
Pales in comparison to the original. The menu is not as extensive and the food is not as good.
Try the dumplings !!!!
Mmm shrimp dumplings ????
The original Nom Wah is better!
Not exactly the same quality as the original location, but close enough and with no wait.
Tofu noodles
It was good when it opened but recent visits were very disappointing. Microwaved frozen dumplings tasted like fake plastic food
Nothing. Don’t go.
Terrible. Blandest food I've had in a long time.
Doesn't deserve the hype -- One piece of beef in the soup , terrible noodles and below-average broth? Woof.
Dumplings you should definitely get: snow pea leaf, mushroom, rice rolls with vegetables, and vegetable dumplings (chive and shrimp get an honorary mention) - Ashish Sharma
If you love rice pudding and want to try other flavors of rice pudding, this is for you! Fun, clean atmosphere. The staff will let you sample some interesting flavors. Give it a try!! Arroz con leche! - Stella Ricci
