Omakase has fantastic variety with large pieces of fresh sashimi & nigiri . Get the live scallops for sure. Starter of oyster , uni, quail egg & tobiko was amazing.

Make sure you get something from the specials menu! The island poke was fresh & light & delicious. The lunch bento boxes are a good deal , more than enough to fill you up.

Some of the best hand rolls you’ll ever have. Get the one with shiso leaf

Chef 's special oysters and the sashimi assortment are to die for. Butterfish , amberjack, blue fin tuna , salmon , hamachi , albacore , just all melt in your mouth. I can't even.

Best for a quick and/or quiet lunch in Potrero. Fun options like scallop burgers and cheaper lunch specials . A little pricey but if you can swing it, do it!

1) Ask to sit in Mai's section - she is the lead and best server ever. 2) Get the Rainbow Roll , Crazy Monkey, and Veggie Swamp Roll. 3) The Chicken Saba Noodle Soup is to die for.

Fresh seafood from Tsukiji Market like aji, toro , and hotate.

Live Uni, blue shrimp and amaebi nigiris are amazing!! Love aji tataki and scallop mini burgers . Chefs special oysters are great too.

The fish is extremely fresh. Try the BF toro , chefs oysters (oysters , uni, quail egg , ikura , tibiko & ponzu ) & the aji tataki. Yum!!! Plenty of parking to;)

Place is amazing!!!! Make sure to get the toro , scallop burger , and live scallops !!!!! And don't forget the poke salad !!!

Romeo & Juliet Roll, tasty udon broth, & coffee flavored mochi . No disappointments here. Fresh sushi indeed!

The lunch bento box is decently priced. $10.50 for two items or $12.50 for three plus soup and salad .

Anything on their specials board is worth a try. We loved the fresh walu and the Romeo and Juliet roll.

Lunch sushi comninatioms and bento boxes are good for a reasonnable price in San Francisco.

Maybe we didn't order the right things.. but our dishes didn't have much flavour. The fish was decently fresh. We got the uni shooter , nemo, cucumber sashimi roll, chirashi . All were underwhelming ????

the sashimi here is super fresh. the black cod and butterfish sashimi are must gets!

Philadelphia roll has the perfect amount of cream cheese . The added tobiko is a nice touch.

The Chirashi here is delicious!

All of their rolls that have some tempura component are awesome. Try the #29 roll, f'rinstance. Oh, and the $9 sake flight is a great accompaniment, too.

Not to be an asshole but if you think this is good sushi ... you have no idea what good sushi tastes like. Basic white people sushi roll spot. Mediocre service. Mediocre fish quality.
