Beautiful lake with some well put together trails and a few spots to sit and hang out.
Careful about letting your dogs swim in the water. My friend's dog has been getting sick the last few times she has swam there.
Great trails for running, but nasty bathrooms so stay clear!!
Easily one of the best places to go for a run in the Raleigh area!!
Scenic views , walking, kayaking
Very beautiful scenery
Great place for solo runs or with your canine companion ;)

Please keep your dogs on a leash-- it's the law!

Really nice 3 mile loop with various overlooks to the lake. Great place to go for a run or just walk and enjoy the scenery. - Michal Schmitt
This a compact with a small lake and several trails. The main trail circles the lake and is around 1 mile. In the fall there is abundant color much of which reflects on the lake. - Jerry Kowalsky
Overall we like this park. Plenty of open spaces for the kids to run and free play. Playground is above average. Biking/hiking trail by the river is great. Downside: sometimes sketchy people.. - Noel Yakubowski
This is a great outdoor area to go for a nice run, bike ride, walk...or even take the kids/dog for some exercise. Very popular, paved and unpaved trails, flat and hills. Fishing, boating too! - Jill H
