Historic site , beautiful village . Suite for family, couple
If you are staying in Takayama, either visit Hida Folk Village or Shirakawa-go. If you choose this option, you’ll see the same stuff, slightly smaller but avoiding the bus cost and travel time
We were there in February after a snowstorm so a lot of places were closed and there wasn’t much staff around. Very self-guided, but, it was the off season so we were okay with it.
Enjoy the rich smell of wood smoke in most of the homes.
Another tourist trap, entrance is 700 yen for pretty not nothing, although i was there inoff season, maybe its better in peak season?
Un musée en plein air qui regroupe des maisons traditionnelles des quatre coins du Japon. Très belle ambiance. Peut-être parce qu'il était désert , mais j'ai préféré à Shirakawa (très très subjectif).
Visita interesante con muchas casas típicas de la zona de los siglos XVIII y XIX, con explicaciones de la vida y el uso de las herramientas utilizadas en aquella época.
Es muy interesante conocer cómo vivían las personas en esta villa y entrar a cada una de las casas que están en este lugar
