Stick with the cafe for affordable meal options. Vegetarian soup & sandwiches were light/good. Sit outside by the live fireplace for good music & lovely breeze at the piers . (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more

I really liked the salad with cranberries , walnuts and goat cheese . The prices are pretty okay if you consider the location and that it is in San Francisco...
Get the cioppino to share. It’s the most expensive item on the menu but it’s totally worth it. Served with warm toasted bread !
If you're just a couple, consider eating at the bar to avoid waiting for a table. And also consider ordering from the bar food menu which is a substantially cheaper than the main menu.
Reasonable price for SFO and really good. Great service, fast. Make a reservation to beat the wait.
A great place for groups and a place locals don't have to be embarrassed to be seen in on Fisherman's Wharf. Also: Not good if you're trying to take bread out of your diet.
Very touristy but good food. Their baguette burger is fantastic and the shrimp and mushroom risotto is my fav. Great service too!
Their clam chowder in sourdough bowl is excellent (best I've eaten so far - and I've eaten quite a few !), salmon was great. Too bad they don't have the 'select 3' desert special anymore.
Dinner was great!! Best bread !! In all sfco!!! I also have breakfast and it's amazing!
Every time I come here its even better than I remember. This place is classy , from the hostess to the server it's where you want to be on the wharf. Come often and enjoy!
Love: artichoke/crab dip , crab cake , paella (scallops so good!), corn/crab bisque. Everything is tasty!
Dungeness Crab Cake sourdough sandwich was amazing. Try the Crab and Corn Bisque also.
The sourdough bread critters are so cool! Worth visiting just to look at them.
Besides the delicious and well known clam chowder in a bread bowl , make sure to save room for dessert and get the sourdough apple pie !!
Great place to have clam chowder . Friendly and helpful staff . Nice view of Fisherman’s Wharf.
Wonderful experience. Service great and food even better! Try the clam & corn chowder , gnocchi with lobster and sourdough apple pie !
Of course the clam chowder in a bread bowl . Also had the bacon grilled cheese which was great.
Try the bread it really is the best that is out there. The soup bread bowl either comes in individual or group portions both are worth it.
Best clam chowder ! Although, it's not the best place to go for cocktail drinks . Bakery tour is a hit for children!
Known for their sourdough breads , here are the cute animal breads :)
Oyster happy hour is a hidden gem . Dollar oysters and sour beers !
skip the line and order your food at the souvenir shop's register. the clam chowder in a bread bowl was tasty. ☺️
Food is excellent - bread bowl is where it's at! Can't go wrong with the crab bisque or the clam chowder !
The beef stew is pretty good and, for the lonely traveler, the barmen is pretty friendly
The crispy sea bass it excellent!
This is a really cool bakery where they make sourdough bread .
Try the Classic Clam Chowder in the signature bread bowls ...!!!! yummy!!
The breadbowl is amazing. The Dungeness Shrimp and Crab is a delicacy too. Great food and splendid view .
Coffee is good, Sourdough egg Benedict with spinach
One would think that a restaurant located above a sourdough assembly line/factory would serve warm sourdough bread with dinner . They do not. It is ice cold.
The Mission Shrimp Cocktail was a really spicy surprise! Try it. You'll like it!
Touristy but a good spot if you're showing people around fisherman's wharf
Clam chowder was good but not great. Ive had better. The sourdough it comes in though is exceptional.
Hard to choose on the menu. Everything sounds delicious!
Clam chowder soup !!! You can't go without taste it
Friendly waiter . Great staff . The crabs are from the bay . At 5am boats deliver the restaurant .

Most amazing spinach and artichoke dip ever! (With crab meat )
Great place to spend your time in SF
Try the baked goat cheese and the clam chowder . Sourdough gnocchi good too, unless you're hungry (small portion).
Bread was great, Pizza and tacos were good, Drinks strong but tasted cheap ... Service by Jennifer was steller...oh yeah you'll be waiting. And it's pricy .
Don't leave CA before trying clam soup
Delicioso clam chowder !!
Dragonberry Mojito is delicious!! As is the Sourdough Apple Pie !!
So good -- way better than hanging out downstairs.
The view is amazing, especially if you have a window seat .
Polite and fast service , food tastes good, and the view is magnificent.
Clam Chowder and Rustic Tomato Soup
