I just love this store. I think it is great! I buy things that I need to get my closet in order plastic containers. I get cleaning supplies there too. They have very good prices. great produces too.
Spacious and clean along with helpful staff if you can find them. As I said it’s a pretty big space multilevel.
These guys really know how to bundle & tie up cardboard boxes. If you're moving, don't be afraid to dream big on box count, they'll help you walk out with them no sweat.
They take plastic bags, lightbulbs and batteries for recycling
Best place to get moving supplies. Bonus tip: if you've got a cart full of boxes, use the elevator instead of the escalator to get it back upstairs.
if you haven't been able to find a certain household product yet, before wasting $ on shipping online, take a look see here - you'll probably find it!
Home improvement projects can be difficult, paying with PayPal is not: <aclass="entity url"rel="nofollow" href="http://bit.ly/YIMOwY"target="_blank" data-sig="jHZlEuqGeQ4RdNihbgTY6JCxFhU=" onmousedown="fourSq.ui.OutgoingLink.mousedown($(this), event)" data-source="tip-text">http://bit.ly/YIMOwY</a>. Just enter your PIN or swipe your PayPal card at the register and you’re set.
Extensive list of coffee that can be brewed manually (they use "pour over " technique). All medium roast. Nice lounge area
I mean. It's home hardware. Staff yell about promotional items and roll their eyes when you ask them for help. How I love service workers from this generation!
Spencer in the lighting department may be the most knowledgeable and helpful person I've ever met in a store that wasn't family-run.
Great selection of garden supplies and plants! Can't beat the prices. It almost feels like your back home in your suburban neighborhood .
simple hardware like brackets and hooks is in the basement level all the way to the east side
Great staff that will walk you through any home repair and get you the tools you need. Don't be afraid to ask
I think I have 5 new best friends here now. Best service ever, came here with an idea and they taught me everything.
The prices here are as good as you'll find online and you don't have to wait for delivery .
Interestingly enough they have a lot of beautiful plants! Staff is so friendly !
Bathrooms are in the basement
Besides Mr Lee, which is a real and rare genius, everybody else SUCKS here... They don't give a damn... They greet you with a smile, but when you ask for assistance you are on your own!!!!
Incredibly helpful and friendly staff--surprising for downtown Manhattan!
pickup in store means "sure, come in, but we probably don't have it and will try to give you a different product"
Great customer service! Even have a plaque saying that a portion of the movie 'Big' was filmed there...
Consider yourself fortunate if you never have to call this Home Depot on the phone. Their hold music is loud , incessant static. Your ears may very well bleed.
No cell reception in most of the store. But I love this place. So many plants!
If you want comedy , go hang out by the paint counter in the basement and listen to the yuppies debating shades of ivory.
Everyone knows Home Depot ... it's where you go to find that one thing you cant ever remember you need until you see it :)
Hassles galore when you try to return. There is an unwritten rule that you need government ID even though its not on the receipt or posted at check out. Buyer beware!
Cheap tropical houseplants. Also, buy your moving boxes here since they're only $1 each.
You can recycle plastic bags here! The plant selection is above average.
really big, can be crowded , i dont mind it there
edible seedlings are upstairs, not in garden center
Stock well selected for apartment living.
Don't wait in line ! You can skip the cash registers with attendants and use the self checkout to pay for your items in half the time. Skip the line and proved to self checkout.
Online orders can be difficult to pick up in store--they need more staff at that desk!
Great place to find things to fix/fix up your home
The most proactively helpful staff I have ever had at a Home Depot .
If you've ever been to any other Home Depot anywhere, then you will immediately experience how ridiculously bougie this store is. If you're interested in more than home dec, go to the HD in Bklyn.
Picking up an online order at the store takes forever. You're better off getting it yourself.
I'm always blown away at how much home improvement stuff they can cram in here.
Has the stuff you need for everyday house fixes
Look for Neil, really nice guy that provided excellent customer service.
Convenient, and they have everything, but the staff here is hit or miss re: service.
My MOST favorite Home Depot location. Always find what I need.
Great staff and quick service
Best Home Depot in NY
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure—hard to believe, but it’s good to stock up on trash bags nonetheless
Service here is surly and sucks. I have been at HD 10 times in the past week and the service is much better at the Lex A be store uptown and worth the trip
Grab some low-energy Christmas lights . Superusers are cool on Foursquare, not electric bills.
OMG! Self check out is always a problem! No receipt was given & the so called manager couldn't get it either! Ridiculous bunch of incompetent staff . It NEVER happens at our Home Depot in FL.
people are super helpful. short of coming home and installing it for me.
The people here are absolute geniuses. How else was I suppose to carry home five giant boxes?
Best hardware store in the city for home improvement and urban gardening. The staff is very helpful, they'll go an extra mile to make sure that even your special requests are fulfilled. - Hanna Johanna Kobor
For holiday decorations, get the Celebrations brand! It's cheaper (and just as great) because it's a brand owned by Ace! - Jenny Lubkin
The oldest hardware store in the city! Knowledgable staff - Phoenix ????????????
Love the brown rice medley, all natural BBQ sauce, red lentils, friendly staff & layout of store. - Demetria Harvin
A wonderful array of meat, cheese dessert and hot meals. A must stop if yore a foodie. - Dee H
Beautiful park, plenty of seating, really nice in the evenings. Shake shack always has a line, but it's worth the wait - Justin McKissick
