A good place to experience the Friday Night pub vibe in London. Gets quite busy and spills out onto the pavement usually. It looks like it’s getting swallowed up by the towers surrounding it.
Unpretentious pub . Sky sports . Couple of real ales on tap . Busy in the evenings with city workers. Doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't.
Great bar staff and drink selection in a building that just oozes that classic, British, London feel - almost mini-cathedral like inside!
Drink in the atmosphere, beer is okay too. Most friendly venue within half mile radius.
What can I say? Mediocre pub , with average beer and really bad wine . BUT it's a classic in a sea of chains. So definitely a must if you're in he area.
