One of my favorite pubs in London and one that I always take visitors to. Be sure to go all the way in to see the inner room with the marble and the friars. Proper ales on tap as well .
One of the best beer selection including US Blue Moon. Pub food is just fine yet burgers are really tasty. Very convenient location and great outdoor sitting area. A must visit place.
Good selection of spirits . Always a small selection of ales on rotation. I like the beer garden they have outside the front as there is plenty of room
A superb pub in the heart of London: historic, atmospheric, great beers . Food is OK but the look and feel of the place is something else.
Lively place at the heart of the city . Open air tables are nice but a bit noisy because of the road . And open even on Sunday until 22.30
Great burgers , excellent beef rib & chicken pies and fantastic atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit even if just to have a look around this art nouveau masterpiece!
A good recommendation from my dad - very unusual art nouveau decor , an extensive selection of beers , and a fine view of the upper parts of the South Bank when you stand outside.
Cask ales were on point. It was so crowded I had to sit outside in the middle of winter but didn't care. Definitely a lot of locals here too
Opposite London Blackfriars station; has an outside area for eating and drinking. It was built around 1875 and gets very crowded in the evenings
Quirky little pub . Outside area is very good for watching the City fly by, if you can get a table in Summer!
Well worth a visit for good beer and interesting architecture inside. Can get very busy but does have some outdoor seating .
A triumph of Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts Movement style inside and out, 1905. Great pub and a good menu too!
Very nice pub with interesting - kind of religious - interior. And great beer .. cheers ????
Cheeseburger is solid. As are the beers . Great decor.
Charming old pub that's a good place to start an Olde London pub crawl. Good luck to ya! ????
Great old fashioned pub with seating outside . Good for after work drinks, usually busy though.
A literal sliver of a tavern near Blackfriars bridge , offering a good selection of beers from the cask and a selection of seasonal specialties . Dark and cozy , with wood carvings of cheeky friars.
This pub takes its monastic theme from the Dominican priory which once stood here. The elaborate and witty decorations date from 1904 and make this a unique London watering hole.
Great London boozer with a good choice of ales & handy for The station!
Very nice pub . A lot of people, but there is a place outside.
The little flat iron of London. Like a dollhouse with tasty beers !
It says wait to be seated but this is a pub so just order at the bar and sit wherever
Beautiful little pub with a nice crowd, great place to relax .
Been here a couple times before. Had to leave this time as it was super busy and the drains were causing a little stink ????
Have your beer at the little garden on the front or enjoy the lovely interior.
Beautifully different pub in the heart of the City .
Great fish & chips - but huge!
Lovely interior, decent beer selection
Traditional English pub with great ambiance and good selection of drinks.
Great Art Deco interior, tiny that it is
Cheap and tasty! One of my fav pubs in London since now
Nice high end pub with lovely decor and good to above average food.
Make a reservation if you want a table!
Steak and ale pie was delicious!
Limited space when in larger groups, but very picturesque!
Decent pub with a nice interior. Good selection of beers from cask .
Food is OK. Venue is a classic and service in the restaurant great
A fantastic pub with an amazing atmosphere.
One of Londons great pubs
Great pub to drink some beers , eat and talk
Remarkable art nouveau décor , a good choice of beers , friendly atmosphere , and decent food all day Read more
Mulled cider is great but not as good as the decor. Worth a visit.
Huge portions for fish & chips !
Amazing eccentricity
The hearty British pub food is definitely worth a shot! Read more
Best view from the street ever
Great beer selection
Serves food until 10pm most nights.
good beer selection
Nice place for a pint!!!
Very traditional, including the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace. Definitely recommend! - Karl Wilson
Hidden little pub just behind Holborn station. Great food (you probably need to book in advance) and very interesting Gin collection! - Yiota Pap
Plenty of history and a decent selection of ales. Food is limited to snacks and toasties although the latter are cheap (under £7) and come with salad and crisps. - Thunder Cat
It's free, a lot of space, very nice exhibitions for every taste. One of the best art galeries I've ever visited - Peter van Kampen
It's a lot of steps but a fantastic view. Highly recommend the climb. But don't forget to visit the crypt downstairs too! - Robert Accettura
Great place to enjoy good beer and some fine british cuisine. Sausage & mash potatos for the win :) Burger is also really good. - Maciej Kluk
