Local food in a nicely decorated smallish restaurant . We shared the creamy fish portion and green salad , and these were plenty for the 2 of us.
The codfish in potato and cream is great but heavy & filling. Equally the beefsteak is very nice. Big portions and has wifi as well .
Order the grilled prawns ! The portion is generous and delish
Arroz con Pato (Rice with Duck ) is excellent. Also the vegetable soup to start. :). Great place.
Escalopes com cogumelos, sempre bons! Veal with mushrooms , always a good choice ;)

The shrimp starter was great. That’s about it. The steak was thin and bone dry. Expensive overall.

big portions , easy, but tasty food
Came here because the restaurant upstairs was full (Romaria de Baco) and would not recommend it. They cannot do a steak with fries or seafood . Not good cooks, efficient no BS service though.

Me and my friend got food poisoning from their octopus & shrimp dishes . Totally didn't see that coming cause the place looks clean & the food looked very fresh. ????

Arroz de pato muy rico. Bacalao con natas riquísimo. Muy recomendable. Servicio rápido, sin mucha espera para sentarse y pocos turistas . 15€ menú.
Muy recomendable. Comida casera muy bien hecha. Raciones espléndidas. Hay que buscarlo pues no está en el centro. Pescados a la parrilla exquisitos!!
Ambiente familiar e acolhedor. Cozinha tipicamente portuguesa e em doses bem generosas. Os pratos de bacalhau são divinais. Vale a pena experimentar!
Fui ao Tulhas em virtude dos comentários.Doses generosas,onde?Escalopes de vitela , molho salgado , 3 bifinhos diminutos.Comida caseira , alguém postou.Desde quando batata frita congelada é caseira .
Muito simpáticos! Comida óptima (experimentei o borrego grelhado, arroz de pato e bacalhau com natas ). E barato para a qualidade!

Historic cafe with Sintra specialty pastries: travesseiros (pillows filled with almond) and queijadas (cheese pastries). Busy but fast and friendly service! - Amy Y
