Prime rib eye shabu shabu for 2 is 27 usd / person and it is a MUST TRY. Also green tea flavored ice cream is amazing. The stuff is very friendly . Hope to come back soon!

Alex

the sukiyaki courses will make your day so much better. lots of food, fun experience, intimate atmosphere , and ice cream for dessert ! helpful staff , all around a wonderful spot for Japanese food .

Cloe Bushnell

Great for groups ! Can get prime rib for $27/person for dinner which includes salad , rice , vegetables , and ice cream . Def make a reservation - even with one you might have to wait for a lil.

Caroline

For an amazing authentic experience, come here and don't hold back. The wait staff is willing to help and explain the process, and the food is incredible. Great ambiance, too.

AmateurConcierge

If you've never had shabu , this is yet another interesting E 10th Japanese spot to check. Shabu shabu = thin sliced meat cooked in boiling water, sukiyaki = thin...cooked in soy base, yakiniku = grill

Jin Moon

The best time to go eat in this place is during the lunch special . No reservation needed, no crowds, pretty quiet and relaxing while enjoying $16.00 shabu shabu for each. No rush in finishing!!!

Justin B

Love this spot! Been here several times and the food is always on point. Just a warning though the place is not very big so might be tough to fit a big group in.

CJ

Traditional Japanese setting. Very good food. Lunch special is only $24 for two, coming with the best green tea ice cream ever

Amanda Weng

The prime rib eye for shabu shabu is an extra $2/person (for lunch , at least), but it's so worth it! Meat is a lot more tender than the regular rib eye that you could get.

prime ribeye shabu shabu is a must. swirl it in the pot for about 2-3 seconds for the most perfect, medium rare, melt-in-your-mouth bite of meat. oh! and add extra scallions and radish to the ponzu sa

Johanna

Prime rib shabu shabu is delicious. If you don't feel like going through the whole hot pot thing, the pork kimchee bibimbap : holy smokes. So good.

Reet

Can't go wrong w the prime rib eye shabu shabu. Add a side of beef tongue (sliced thin for a meaty lettuce crisp) and the snow crab too if it's still in season.

Legit Japanese Shabu-Shabu, sukiyaki , Nabe place -- coming from someone that grew up in Japan. The bar next door is also owned by the same owner!

Jess Leung

The shabu-shabu is terrific, but the real star here is the bibimbap . I'm Korean, and they have one of THE BEST bibimbaps around. Intensely flavorful, it's hard to share.

Nancerella

I think you can totally do this at home and have a party with friends... Let's just it at home with some grass fed rib eye and organic vegetables !!!

Emanuela Ferrari

This is simply brilliant. You cook your own food, this makes everything easier and funnier. Love it.

All 6 of us got the prime beef shabu shabu . It's clean , healthy, tasty, and comforting, but a wee pricey .

Navin

Prime rib eye shabu is good, but you have to do the pork belly appetizer (pictured) and the bibimbap .

Allie Caldwell

Delicious, quick and attentive service . Very tiny, not much seating. Would make a great days spot.

ᴡ Elliot

Get the shabu shabu . They can split the pot if someone in the group doesn't eat meat (????)

The rumors about the pork belly appetizer are true. Nom nom. Dumplings are on point as well .

There's usually an hour wait before 9:30pm but when you get in, shabu shabu with prime rib-eye is the way to go. Don't throw it all in at once, half the beauty is having everything freshly hot.

Philip Harper

Best shabu shabu in nyc hands down! Great service too and when ordering the meal you get free ice cream green tea is my fave
