A favorite venue for dinner and drinks! We had a great experience meeting with friends for #lunch on #saturday. The beet salad is great to share. The Cobb salad is also awesome.

Allium—you are the greatest. Thanks for everything in 2017 and before. We look forward to many celebrations in the years to come. Thanks to our dear friends at Allium — Nick, TJ, Agatha, and Rachael.

The Grilled "Cheese n' Ham " is an expensive option at $17, but it's worth it. House made ham is paired with Prairie Breeze cheese and Miche bread , and served with fresh-cut fries .

The Allium Bar offers the best of a classic bar with a contemporary flair. The Manhattan is hard to beat there. Try the Lavage if you're looking for a light snack .

Desserts are fun and inexpensive — lots of sweets for $6 and less, including such novelties as a miso-butterscotch shake and a PB&J float with peanut-butter ice cream and "concorde" grape soda .

Anton Shuster

The $16 hot dog on the lunch menu is an elevated Chicago-style beef sausage with "homemade everything ." It's not a replacement for your favorite hot dog joint , just a bourgeois take worth a try.

Nitin Khandhia

Absolutely wonderful place. The only downside was a heavily cheesy butter served at breakfast which we were told was organic and so caused a very strong Parmesan-type aroma. Perhaps I'm being picky!

Chicago Tribune

For $20, you can get a tower of sweets (sort of a plateau de fruits de fruits ); just be sure the house-made oreos , doughnut holes and lemon macaroons are in the mix.

OMG 99% Chocolate gelato and ice cream .!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No other words necessary. It was great. I had the skirt steak which was fantabulous. Supposedly everything here is superb, wouldn't doubt it!

I like their focus on natural ingredients and the innovative ways to bring out the flavors. Sitting in the Four Seasons, it is a good place for a date or work.

Time Out Chicago Kids

As posh as this place is, it’s also especially accommodating to kids. They get their own breakfast , lunch and dinner menus (Seasons takes on usual standbys), and diners under four eat for free. Read more
