Remember: in case of attack, you don’t have to be able to swim faster than a shark. Rather, you have to swim faster than the slowest person in the water with you. Then, hope for a lazy shark.

Great beach . Not too overcrowded like some beaches in L.A. are. Great for strolls along the beach too. The sunsets are beautiful ???? Definitely one of my favorite beaches to visit.

Best beach in SoCal ! Great waves, beautiful area w/ mountains hugging the coast. Not too far out from town and the water is very good. Skip Santa Monica and come up PCH a bit. You'll be glad you did.

Nice, relaxing beach . The best parking of any of the local beaches , a huge perk if you're lugging tons of supplies. There's free street parking , though I recommend the paid parking for convenience.

The beach , mountains , surf , water and sunsets . VOLZumaSrf was born here and will most likely# die here. However all of my friends and family have since abandoned me, so the birds may have to pick

What a day... What a beach . Clean waters and sand. Arrive early to get a good spot. Free parking on Wayward Beach Street right off PCH.

Maybe touristic , but the beach is so big and long that there is plenty of room for everybody. The walk along the shore is great!

Park for free on Westward Beach Road , right off the Pacific Coast Highway. For dinner , try the Reel Inn , where you eat simply grilled fish from a tray at picnic tables .

The ocean is beautiful. Never too crowded and an amazing view of the mountains . Might see whales or seals!

Great "default" beach on PCH. If you want something more private just go up the road . Plenty of life guards if you have the kiddos- but don't be a goof! Like any SoCal beach - riptides can be fierce.

This is a great malibu beach . Pretty typical. Got crowded on the weekend but was much less so on a weekday.

It's an absolutely beautiful beach . You can walk into the ocean via the sand bar that's just a few feet away from the shore

Zuma Beach is one of the most magical destinations in the world !!! The whale and dolphin spotting is euphoric!

Beautiful beach . Gets kinda crowded in the summer but still super fun. Beach patrol is super uptight there though. They definately have no problem writing you a ticket

LA's greatest beach . Popular, clean and fun. Decent waves but watch out for the riptide !

It was a perfect day for the Beach , cool and cloudy, then sun came out, swimming in the waves for about 2 hours, then the cloud cover came back.

The hills meet the ocean at this absolutely beautiful beach and will make you forget that you are but a few miles away from the 11 million residents of greater Los Angeles.

The beach was clean and not overly crowded , making for an incredibly relaxing mini-getaway.

Just park on the side of the road , it's free. As long as you obey the signs, you won't get towed.

Awesome beach ! Not too crowded , excellent surf/wave conditions, super soft sand ...perfect! Only complaint would be parking .

The mountains dotted with wealthy Malibu homes drop sharply to the beach below offering a surreal landscape experience.

Check out the beach caves in the North of the beach , but bring sneaks for climbing the rocks.

You have to pay for your parking . But time is unlimited. If you want a public park , which is not worse, it is nearby.
