Beancurd with red bean ($2). Generous serving of red beans (NOT the bigger kidney beans ). At lunch time, only cold beancurd is available. Stall starts making warm ones in the afternoon for night crowd
Desserts . Plenty of non-soy options. Available in the afternoon & for dinner ; many items are not ready at lunchtime
Bandung-style soy milk ($1.80). Strongly fragrant syrup used. Operator’s recipe was to fill over a third of the cup in rose syrup
Drink options. If u prefer just a hot (or cold) drink, stall has many soy milk & grass jelly options
The syrup for their bean curd is pretty light
Stall takes up 2 units. Machinery to make soy-based drinks & desserts are in the second stall space
New drink concoctions . Bird’s nest jelly & gula Melaka
They make their products onsite
My favourite spot to get my soya bean curd and milk .
Even the bean curd with sugar tastes light. Good if you prefer your bean curd to be less sweet.
The beancurd jelly tastes nice, but the absurd pricing is putting me off... $1 for takeaways and $0.70 for eat-in (it was $0.60 previously)... $0.30 for a freaking container!!!
I bought 2 bowls, eat-in... 1 hot and 1 cold... They ran out of the cold ones and gave me with the takeaway container. They freaking charge me $1.00 when it's not even my fault!
Yummy dessert
Order the Mee Pok Ta (Dry), fishballs are handmade. They also sell both in the day time and night time. More ideal to come in the evening for more variety of stalls at the hawker centre. - Boon
I enjoyed the chilli sauce but only to alternate between the savoury fried batter and adding a bit of citrusy punch with each mouthful - Cheen The Curious
The Mee Hoon Kway is clumped together like dough dumplings. - Javier Yong-En Li
Love their durian puree!! Must try, so far the best i have tried. Also love their plum juice. But its too noisy in the night crowd. - Joean勤
Gangster ice: finely shaved ice (even if not at bingsu level) with evaporated milk, mango chunks & a scoop of durian. The mango & durian didn't go together well, but enjoying them separately worked. - Gabriel Seah
