Clean architecture of the building (water mirror and concrete) the galleries and the permanent collection. Really enjoyed the current russian/communist/beginning of the 20th Century , posters exhibit .
One of the best kept secrets in seattle...hidden away in the shadow of hospitals , their exhibitions recently have all been amazing...+ free!

Frye showcases mainly German painting and sculpture from the 19th century to the present. See breathtaking pastoral landscapes from Fritz Baer and Francois Cachoud, or attend one of the many lectures.
Free admission . Free parking . Free wi-fi. Yummy cafe . I think this will be my new "office " when I'm between clients in the Capitol Hill/downtown/First Hill area. Makes me happy.

Frye Art Museum is always free of charged, was opened as a museum by founders who had that goal in mind. Always worth a visit, I try to visit a couple times a year.

Buster Simpson , publicartist/environmentalist exhibit , worth time to go out of your way to see & it's free, so is parking across the street!

Loved the mythical section where you can find several paintings of Venus, Zeus and Cupid. Also the Egyptian, French and Roman sections are really good. I'm definitely going back to that museum. - Gaby Sánchez
