Perhaps the best local coffee you'll find in this vicinity. The coffee here is fragrant and full bodied, one of a few heritage coffee shops left. Don't forget to try the French Toasts with kaya too!
Top grades for authentic atmosphere by they don't slice the kaya toast and you need to break your own eggs so quality wise it's not amazing. Still a fun place to take out of towners to for breakfast .
Best Kaya toast and Soft boiled eggs in Singapore! Lots of people like this old style coffee here as it thick and aromatic. But they put condense milk which is too sweet for me.
Besides kaya toasts , got to enjoy a full course meal. Pictured from left to right, from top row: mushroom with kailan , fried ee mee, sweet & sour pork , wolfberry leaves fried egg , yue guang hor fun
Simple local breakfast , yet so satisfying! Popular among the locals, do order their traditional kaya (coconut jam ) toasts set. Each toast set comes with a drink (Teh for me) and two soft-boiled eggs .
Try the Kaya French Toast ! It's soooooooo delicious and definitely the best I've tasted in the city ! It's take a bit to get it because he makes it fresh only upon order, but it's def worth the wait!
Kaya toast offered in 2 versions: normal ($2) & crispy (left, $2.40). Crispy is recommended; it’s more like the popular Killiney & Ya Kun styles. Each slice toasted till crispy , then sliced in half
Great ipoh chef that cooks dishes . Must order coffee ribs , tofu , Asam fish , Har Cheong Kai ( fried chicken in prawn paste ) and dry Beef Hor fun .
Quite nice coffee shop , little above average compared with other similar shops. Its kaya toast is quute nice especially the crispy and french version ones
Gan Xiang Ji (claypot chicken ) is a must! Marinated fried chicken tossed in a sweet salty tangy spicy sauce . Perfect with rice .
Claypot chicken , special spare ribs , tofu with preserved veggies are must tries. One of my fave places and good value
You can’t go wrong with the traditional breakfast sets of soft boiled eggs , toast and local coffee/tea.
$4.70 for this combo of coffee , soft-boiled eggs & kaya-butter toasts
Simple Chinese breakfast set . Kaya toast is fluffy and nice. Slightly overpriced probably because of it's old name before they have moved to the current new place.
Kaya toast is great, coffee is really good. Love the clay pot chicken and coffee pork ribs
Inflation. This set costed $4.70 in Feb 2021. Now (May 2022), it is $5.30!
Kaya toast and coffee set with soft boiled eggs ! Worthy of Michelin Stars !
Good thick traditional coffee found here. Kaya very stingy on the toast but guess then one can appreciate the texture of the toast .
The actual restaurant isn't this fancy lookin joint on the corner, it's actually a few units down the street on the right.
Great place for us tourists to try a local breakfast and cheap too!
Traditional Cantonese fare. What's not to like? Everything is ????
Order the clay pot chicken . No.words. ???????? ❤️
Love their teh and toast here. So old-school feel.
Has moved to 35 Keong Saik Road . Don't be misled by the Pasta Inc signage. The new sign board not ready yet.
Toast & beverage menu
Great kaya ! Ask the owner how it’s made!
They have relocated up the street at 35 Keong Saik Rd.
Coffee Ribs and Asaam Asaam fish are a MUST!
Best Kopi Tiam coffee in Singapore!!!
Can’t recommend a better place to die from diabetes
The steam bread with kaya and butter is nice
Coffee : D kopi bouquet here is unique. Plus it's thick & bitter, d way I like it ;-)
The stir fried beef hor fun here is really decent for $5.50! and don't forget to have it with chilli padi!
The coffee and toast here is very popular. Do give their tze char a try too on evenings.
Coffee is rich and smooth. At $1.20, it beats the hell out of Ya Kun .
Great for breakfast . Kaya toast yum yum yum
The old 東亞 coffee shop has moved across the street to this location.
Love their coffee and Kaya bun for breakfast .
Beef fried rice ! Nice and tender! Don't forget to ask for sambal chilli !
Best coffee and tea in spore
Everyone comes for Kaya Toast . It's OK.
Their special dishes are nice
Best Kopi Tiam Kopi in Singapore!
Don’t bother. Yakun and toast box is way nicer with even better value!
Kaya bread best

4 types of toast !
Coffee Pork Ribs !
Must try. Good coffee , very nice butter Kaya toast bread . Ask for 'specil' toast .
Actress Joan Chen comes here just for the tofu !
amazingly good nasi lemak, juicy chicken & coconut rice cooked to perfection. otah was also thick & tasty. pricey for a local dish but well worth it for quality & attentive service. expect queues! - mo pleasure
Happy to report that the Penang prawn noodles passed our easily offended tastebuds ???? Broth is an umami wonderland, very distinct flavours from tauge & kangkong though. Hot tip:skip the CKT. - Edd
Yummy sambal chicken nasi lemak. Very fragrant long grain rice! Fresh ingredients. - Vix
It’s super simple but the chicken sandwich (opt for ???? bread) is so well thought out u can hav this any time of the day (but I thk only avail at bfast). The wanton skin & dipping also a great bonus. - Edd
Kampung nasi lemak is really nice! 02-34. Tender mutton and fresh vegetables! :) come early to avoid disappointment! - Weiwu Lah
Great authentic food, the juices are incredible. A must visit! - Andre S
