Enjoyed their thosai here. Light batter, not oily. And the sambars & chutneys are of the recipes that I enjoy: light heat from the spices, without killing the nerves in the mouth :-)
If u hv no plans for the rest of the day, order their VIP Thali ($9.50). It's a selection of vegetarian dishes . Omakase-style — it's different everyday, depending on what chefs find @ the market
Choice of rotis for VIP thali . Serving staff will offer bhatura (pictured), thosai, poori or chapati. Best enjoyed with channa (chickpea curry ) sauce ???????? Unlike dishes, additional orders are not free
Samosa chaat ($6.50) is not the typical fried triangle snack stuffed with potatoes . Theirs is more upscale with vege , crispy bits, spices, chilli slices. Tasty afternoon snack ! Convenient to share
Punjab thali set has 2 dairy items, & 2 vege dishes. Served with a big bowl of briyani rice & a chapati bread . All items are refillable ????????
Their idlis are not as fluffy as Murugan's 8 streets down (Syed Alwi Rd) but still light. It takes time to make them fresh & steam after u order, so be prepared to wait a little :-)
This restaurant is a vegetarian South Indian restaurant located at Little India and opens from morning from 7:30. Credit cards are not accepted.
Nearly broke a tooth. I liked the samosa chaat and the VIP thali . The main issue we had was a bit of plastic string in the chaat and a lentil size pebble in the rice .
Prefer appams ? Order their milk appams , which is more moist than regular ones. Served with a side of more milk to dunk into :-P $5.50/set. Breakfast only (up till 11am)
Kothu roti ($6.50) reminded me of our local prata banjir where the fried bread is torn into smaller pieces. Instead of being doused with curry , the pieces are re-fried with vege & spices. Not won over
Madras thali . Pure vegetarian bliss. And ALL items on the tray is refillable!
I want to like this place but the seasoning is too mild for me. Service is excellent though and you must try their bhaturas ! Also good for people afraid of spices or chilli heat in Indian food .
Breakfast dish upma, made from semolina or rice flour , is an acquired taste. Plenty of texture & savoury
Chole Bhattura. Fell in love with the chewy Bhattura! Simple yet satisfying meal
Briyani rice option for Madras thali . Top-up and get this flavourful rice for ur thali meal
The ‘kheer ’ (wet pudding ) served here is made from vermicelli . Milky sweet delight with every spoonful
The medu wada , dosa and vegetarian thali .I liked both the standard and VIP Thali. Its has all vegetarian option. The place is neat .
Gobi Manchurian is fantastic. Love this all vegetarian Indian place! A must visit!
Appam set for breakfast is $5.50! Freshly made but pricey
Get the idli set if you like your idlis swimming in sambar like I do. ????
Great dosa and South Indian food !
awesome keerai vadai :)
Hot just fried vadais with Pudina chutney and sambar . Really, what more could you ask for?
Shiok appams for breakfast or tea-time.
Very clean and a good place
Decent vadais . Sold in pairs only
excellent VIP thali :)
Tiny but delicious samosas .
Gud vegetarian food . Nice service staff ....
Try to order piping hot fresh vadais , they'll melt-in-your-mouth!
if having thosai or rice set, ask for their Puthina Chutney ! its really good...
Idly, dosa ????
