Great design museum with a cosy cafe with seating in the courtyard - nice and quiet in the summer. In the summer period Grønnegårdteateret performs classic plays on the outdoor scene.
Brilliant day out at the design museum . Fantastic collection of chairs and great clothing galleries . The cafe was also excellent.
Have a meal at the café ! Delicious Danish food . Had fishcakes , marinated herring , grilled cheese/ham sandwich , elderflower drink, chocolate cake . Top notch, affordable , surrounded by Danish design .
Has a good collection of furniture apart from other things. The central garden is used as a outdoor theatre and i would have loved to attend a performce there. Free english tours on Sunday at 2pm.
Nice museum with some very beautiful artefacts. It's amazing to see that some pieces of furniture that can perfectly fit a modern house of today, were designed so long ago.
The place to go in Copenhagen if you're looking for inspiration on design. The shop is very good and affordable with a great selection of books , posters and other items.
I have bought a "designed" toothbrush from museum shop. It was nice :) It has a nice location and must to see exhibitions . I wish I can carry a Danish chair to home :)
The cafe is fantastic with great food. I would suggest you get the elderflower juice here if you haven't had it before.
Not only when you are a designer, but in case the masterpieces of human can impress you - #mustvisit. And absolutely free if you are under 26
Nice museum with an interesting permanent collection . The temorary exhibition "Learning from Japan" remains a bit too superficial. Nice cafe&inner garden for warmer times.
They have some nice exibitions with furniture and fashion design. It's worth a visit if you are in Copenhagen and love good design
Half modern exhibition about chairs and partly architecture , half old furniture / clothing exhibition . Free wifi in the lobby, fun photos with the chairs in the lobby
The museum was nice but a little small to be honest. The cafe was absolutely amazing though! Loved the food and the garden is gorgeous to sit in :)
Lovely permanent collection . The inner courtyard is a nice place to sit in the sun.
This Danish Museum of Art & Design is where you'll get to learn about industrial design as well as applied and decorative arts . Has collections of both Danish and international creations.

Big collection! The description is available for every exhibit
Beautiful fashion & design museum - Scandinavian fashion/art through the different time periods!
Great collection and beautiful garden to relax and enjoy a coffee
Century of the Child show is great and alternates exhibit rooms and play rooms
A lovely museum with an amazing shop!
Quite difficult to study a period as each category is displayed seperately and they don’t seem to care much for context or telling a unified story
Great exhibition about the famous design pieces that inspired the world of design.
A museum worth a visit for everyone with a slight interest in design . The café is very nice as well .
Very nice design about danish design - furniture , toys etc.

Not too interesting for designers. But: nice museumstore with interesting books .
To be honest, the café was much stronger experience than the exposition ...delicious food!
